Okay. After all the mushy feelings shit went down, Ed and Al convinced me to let them get the nurse. Once they did, it was about eleven forty five.
Ed and Al went for lunch across the road at a small restaurant while I ate in the hospital room. A sandwich. Some vegetables. A roll. A glass of milk. At exactly noon, a nurse came in with a bottle of pills with my name on it. She took one out and handed it too me along with a glass of water.
I popped the small pill in my mouth and gulped it down with a sip of water.
"Thank you." I said to the nurse as she left. She turned her head to me and smiled.
"It's no problem. Just get better soon." She said before leaving. I smiled. The burning wasn't as bad. It was going away.
When Ed and Al came back, I was told I was allowed to leave. I was on gonna hear it from Hughes. I was having a little trouble with staying on my feet but Ed helped me with that. And we got our way to the Hughes' house.
Al knocked on the door and Gracia answered it with a small smile. But, her face went shocked when she saw me.
"Maes! You may want to see this!" She called. Hughes came running yelling 'what's wrong' as he did so. When he saw me he gasped then smiled.
"Long time not see huh Mr. Hughes?" I asked smiling. Hughes knelt down and hugged me. Not one of his crazy hugs. A normal one.
"Good to see you in the land of the living Anna." He said letting me go. I immediately reached out to grab something as I nearly toppled over. Hughes reached out for me but Ed and Al were the ones who caught me in time.
"Are you alright?" Gracia asked. I nodded with a small smile.
"Yeah. My legs just don't want to work right just yet." I explained quickly. "Passing out a lot isn't really helping my physical being." Hughes chuckled.
"No I guess not. But I know an adorable three year old who would love to see you again." He said with a grin. I nodded.
"Same here." Ed helped me to the living room where I sat on one of the three couches they had. Who needs three anyways?
"Elicia!" Hughes called. The bouncy happy little girl ran in with a smile but, her smile faded and she stopped. Elicia looked at me for a minute before tear welled in her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. Her face scrunched up as she cried.
"B- Big Sister!" She yelled running over to me. She grabbed my leg and cried into it. I placed a hand on her head making her look up at my smiling face.
I picked her up and placed her on my lap. She latched herself onto my torso and refused to move as she cried harder.
"I'm alright." I told her quietly.
Ed and Al had some business to attend to so they left me with the Hughes. Find by me.
**Ed's POV**
They were trapped. Ed and Al and Ling were trapped under Envy's true being. They didn't have a chance.
"What's wrong pipsqueak!?" Envy taunted. "Can't applause yourself!?" Eds automail arm was trapped under Envy's now enlarged foot. Lan Fan was out of commission due to the fight they had with Scar to lure the homoculi out of hiding.
Ling was now Greed. Ed was freaking out. Al was trying to get out from under Envy.
"Get them out!" Father roared sitting in his chair with the tube coming out of it. Envy picked the two up and dragged them out...
And onto a random roof in central.
"Bye now! Don't die pipsqueak!" Envy teased. Ed growled.
"Damn you!"
