Chapter 34: Tummy Troubles

The next morning, Gracia made pancakes and when we told the Hughes' our plan for tonight, Elicia started to cry and started to cling to me again. She clung to me and cried until noon when she finally calmed down. 

We said goodbye to the family of three and started for the cabin away from the city. Ed had called Mustang and he was waiting seven blocks away for us. 

"Well, well, well. If it isn't Anna Brown." Mustang said with a grin.

"Yeah yeah yeah. Wooptie freaking doo. Let's go." I said climbing into the passenger seat. Ed and Al climbed into the back seat and off Mustang went.

"So why do you need to see this homoculous we captured?" Mustang asked.

"Long story." I told him plainly shifting through my bag. Apperently Ed and Al found it outside the Hughes' house the day after I went into a coma.

"We have half an hour until we get there."

"That's more then enough time." I told him. "But then you're gonna be processing it for a week."

"Does it have anything with you being from another world?" He asked. I turned and glared at Ed and Al who sweat dropped with fear written across their faces. I looked back at Mustang.

"Yeah. I know what's supposed to happen and the time line is royally screwed if what's supposed to happen there, doesn't happen." I explained quickly. Mustang nodded.

"Alright. What's supposed to happen?"

"You can't know yet. Neither can Al. But the time line is all screwed up at the moment. Something happened that wasn't supposed to happen for probably months. If this doesn't happen, then the time line is even more screwed up. But, Ling was supposed to be here as well. He's now Greed." 

"As in another homoculous?" Mustang asked.

"No. A magical unicorn. Yes a homoculous you idiot!" I yelled.

"I'm so sorry I was trying to clarify!" He yelled back.

"Well it was a stupid clarification! What else would he be if his name was Greed!? The homocului are named after the seven deadly sins! I thought you had that by now!"

"They're named after the seven deadly sins!?" Ed and Mustang yelled. I growled.

"Yes! Are you stupid!? Greed! Lust! Envy! Wrath! Sloath! Gluttony! Pride! Those are the seven deadly sins! The cross dressing palm tree is Envy! Mustang, you killed Lust! Ling is now Greed! You have Gluttony in custody! Are you seriously telling me, you never caught a single clue!?" I yelled at my loudest.

Ed cowered in the corner while Mustang gave a scared silly face while he drove down the road. I sighed and crossed my arms.

"I knew you wouldn't figure it out right away Mustang. Your too stupid. But, Ed! I thought you'd get that by now!" Mustang gawked at me with his eyes off the road.

"Look at the road not me!" I yelled again. "I'm sorry for all the yelling but I'm getting seriously stressed out right now!" I yelled again. 

"Anna, it's gonna work out." Al said calmly. I took a deep breath and nodded.

"And if it doesn't, I can't be sure this will end the way it's supposed to." I said calmly. "If it doesn't end the way it's supposed to, I know it would be my fault because I'm not supposed to be in the story. It doesn't matter what order everything happens in, it just matters that it happens. That ensures the ending."

"How is it supposed to end?" Mustang asked finally calmed down.

"I can't tell you! That could screw the ending up!" I growled at him.

"Then why would tell us that this has to happen!?" He yelled.

"Because it had to happen or else the ending with be ducked up!"

"Ducked?" Al repeated.

"Another word for..." I trailed off. "I hate saying I the actual word." I explained calmly.

"Back on the topic!" Mustang yelled. "What'd supposed to happen!?' He asked again.

"I can't tell you for crying OUT LOUD!" I screamed. Mustang shrank into his seat and stopped the car in front of the cabin. I hopped put grabbed Mustang and Ed's arms; dragging them into the cabin. 

We passed Lan Fan's room I nearly fainted. All the blood. I swallowed and dragged them to where Gluttony was being held. The big blob of flesh with metal cord tied around it struggled to get out.

"Dark! What are you doing here?" He asked struggling to get out. 

"No reason. But, did you know this is Mustang?" I asked pulling Mustang in front of me.

"Mustang?" He asked. "He killed Lust. He killed my Lust!" He started struggling more.

"What are you doing?" Mustang demanded quietly.

"What has to be done." I whispered back. "Just go with it."

"He killed my Lust!" He cried and his ribs came out as teeth in his stomach. An eye appeared in his stomach and the metal binding exploded. Al jumped in front of us to block the smaller pieces from us. Gluttony smashed through the wall and they guys ran. I sighed and ran after to Hawkeye.

"What the hell is going on!?" She asked confused and fearful.

"Yeah um... you just need to get that car, get Lan Fan and the doctor in it, I'll bring Mustang back and you get the hell outta dodge." I explained quickly and running towards the light that was Mustangs fire.

"What are you talking about!?" She called.

"Just do it!" I kept running.

"He just keeps eating them!" Ed yelled as Mustang threw fire balls at the homoculous.

"Okay! Ed! Al! Lead Gluttony away! Mustang! Let's go!" I grabbed his arm and dragging him over the where Hawkeye was waiting by the forest. "Get in!" I yelled. He did as he was told.

"You too Anna." He told me. 

"No. The doctor has to go." I pushed him in the car and shut the door. "Get them out Hawkeye." 

"Wait, how do you know my name?"

"I'll explain later. But for now, go." I told her. She nodded and slammed on the gas. 

"Okay." I said turning around and running back to the forest and following the explosions the brothers were making. I clapped my hands and created a bunch of kunai's from the metal in the ground. I found Ed and Al fighting Gluttony and Envy was yelling at him not to eat them. He didn't listen. I ran at Al and shoved him out of the way. Envy ran up and stood in front of Ed to try and stop Gluttony but failed.

Al's arm got caught in the crossfire while Gluttony devoured Ed, Envy and me.

"No!" Al cried. This was good. This was supposed to happen. His arm was supposed to get caught in this. Envy was supposed to get caught in it. Ed was supposed to get eaten. So was Ling but, he's Greed now. I took his place. 

Ed screamed my name as Gluttony swallowed us whole. We were separated. Shit. I'm drawing a blank. Was Ling and Ed supposed to be separated? Envy was. I snapped out of my thoughts when I hit a warm liquid. Son of a bitch. 

I forgot Gluttony was filled with blood. I was gonna barf. I was standing in a sea of blood.
