Envy and I were watching Mustang from the roof. He was doing a whole lot of nothing. Writing his name on papers. Boring as hell. I sighed and kept watching Mustang while Envy kept watch to make sure nobody was coming.

"Anything change Kid?" Envy called from the other side of the roof.

"Nothing." I called back not taking my eyes off the window. Mustang looked up from his work. "Wait! Someone came in his office or something!" I called. Envy walked up next to me and took a look.

"I'm gonna go take a look. Stay here!" He ordered pointing to the roof top. I nodded and he jumped off the roof; leaving me alone.

"Well, finally." That voice. That- that voice. It was... I spun around. Ed stood with his hands in the air; stretching his arms. "I've been waiting for what, an hour?"

"Great. I'm hallucinating." I said rubbing my eyes.

"You're not hallucinating Anna." He told me. I looked at him with my mismatched eyes.

"I gotta be. You're dead." I said crossing my arms. "And I swear, if you're Envy I'm gonna kick your sorry ass again." I threatened. He chuckled and placed his hands on his hips.

"Only I know you said it was your fault I died." He explained. "Al told me."

"You do realize I could kill you at anytime right?"

"Yeah but you won't." He said cockily. "I just wanted to let you know I'm alive. No need to feel bad." He placed a finger on his chin.

"Feel bad!? I wouldn't feel bad!" I yelled at him. He smiled.

"Now's the time Al!" Ed yelled all of a sudden. I gasped and metal arms wrapped around me.

"What the hell!?" I yelled. Al placed his metal hand over my mouth and they both ran. I struggled in Al's grip as they ran about eight blocks and down into a basement thingy. In the basement room, Ed tied me to a chair with alchemy.

"Let me go!" I yelled pulling on the metal the bond me down.

"Can't let you do that." A voice from the shadows rang out. Hughes came around to the front on the chair.

"Hughes!?" I yelled again.

"The one and only!" He said happily.

"What the hell is going on!? My brother's gonna be pissed if I'm not there when he gets back!" I yelled again. Hughes pat my head.

"Common kiddo. This isn't you."

"If it's not me why don't you kill me?" I asked smirking and shaking his hand off. He gasped at my remark. Ed growled and came up to me. My skin glowed again and the burning came to my stomach.

God that hurt...

"Get out." Ed ordered Al and Hughes. They did as they were told and went into another room. "Get the hell out of Anna." He growled at me.

"It ain't my decision sweetheart. Why don't you go find an actual crime?" I asked smirking. I tried to disregard the pain in my abdomen but it didn't work.

Ed saw the pain that filled my eyes. But, my face was calm and composed. He came closer and the pain became too much. I leaned forward grinding my teeth together.

"Get out of Anna and the pain will stop!" He growled. I smirked.

"You don't understand do you?" I spat through my clenched teeth.

"Understand what?" He growled again.

"That I am Anna. I haven't changed that much Edward. My heart is just as my name is. Dark." He came closer. I grunted at the pain.

"That's a lie." I knelt to look at me eyes that were downcast to the floor in pain. "Anna is in there. Her heart isn't dark. It's good. And I know that more then anyone." He told me. I smiled and chuckled.

"I'm sorry. That's just a really stupid acusition Edward." I laughed again.

"What are you talking about?" He demanded.

"When I came to this world, I found out that Truth took half my soul. Making me half a homoculous. How? A dream." I explained quickly. I can't believe I came up with that lie so quickly.

"This isn't you."

"How do you know what the real me is anyways Edward?" I asked. He shook his head. "That's what I thought. You don't kn-" Ed cut me off by kissing me. For the third time. He kissed me again!

My skin glowed an impossible blood red. And the pain became impossible for anyone to ignore or try to fight. Ed pulled away and I screamed. God the pain... it was unbearable. Ed clapped his hands and removed the restraints. I fell to the floor and held my stomach on my knees.

Ed pulled me into his chest as I screamed bloody murder.

"Let me go!" I screamed. He held me tighter. I pushed myself to bring my arms to his chest and shoved him away from me. The taste of blood in my mouth and out it came. With the stone.

I was right. That did hurt! The stone hit the ground and turned to dust. My vision became hazy. My heart softened again. The power drained out of me.

"No!" I cried falling to my side. Ed pressed two fingers to my neck and sighed in relief.

"Common Anna. Come back to your old self. It's been a week and a half. We need you back."  I placed one of my hands flat on the ground.

"Get the hell away from me!" I yelled.  He did what I said and I released the pain; making a small explosion around me.

Then I blacked out. Again.

**Eds POV**

"Anna!" Ed yelled as the explosion started. A bright light and wind made Ed squint his eyes and block his face with his arms. His jacket flew a little behind him along with his hair.

When the light and wind disappeared, Anna sat in the middle of the room with her eyes closed.

"Anna!" Ed cried again. He ran over and pressed two fingers to her neck again. A steady pulse thumped against his fingers. He sighed again.

"Brother! Anna!" Al cried running to the two.

"She's okay Al. She's just unconscious." Ed told Al as he failed his arms everywhere with 'tears' pouring down his face.

"She'll be okay Ed?" Hughes asked. Ed nodded.

"She'll be fine. She's strong enough."
