It was a particularly cold day today in Arandelle and the queen was visiting her dead loved ones' graves.

~Elsa's POV~

"This could have been us.... but you're gone. This could have been us... but our child's dead. My parents died... and now both of you are gone too. I went to my parents' grave today. I felt cold... and not in a good way.

My Love, I miss you and our unborn child. I miss how you laughed. How you made me laugh! But you're gone. Both of you. Gone.

I dream of a day where all of us can live happily together as a family. But for now, that must wait. As the new ruler of Arandelle, I must now put my feelings on hold and hope for the best.

You would have been great king and father, my love. But you were taken too soon and too young.

Goodbye Jackson Overland. May we meet in the after life or in some other world or reality.

I love you." I said to his grave before walking away and leaving.

When I arrived in the castle, I was greeted by a platter of warm and delicious food.

I sniffed the air. It smelled delicious!

"What is this?" I asked Anna whom was sitting in front of me, taking a big bite out of a giant brownie.

"Oh? You didn't know? Dang it! Olaf was supposed to tell you! But never mind, I will instead! We noticed how down you've been lately and decided to cheer you up with some of yours and everyone's favourite foods!" Anna said, barely understandable with her mouth being filled with brownies.

"You did't need to do all this you know..." I said, feeling a bit guilty.

"No sweat! Kristoff made all this! He's the genius behind all this!" Anna said.

"Speaking of which, where is that hunk of yours?" I said.

"Right here!" Kristoff said, barging in through the kitchen doors and into the dining area.

He strutted forward with his hand upright holding another giant plate filled with all sorts of delicious monstrosities that I love.

"By the way, thanks for calling me a 'hunk'. Kinda like that." he said, smirking.

"Funny." I said, rhetorically.

"Elsa! Oh my gosh! You have got to try this! It's so damn delicious!" Anna said.

"Well, it does look really really appetising..." I said.

My stomach started grumbling.

"Take a seat, Elsa." Olaf said, tugging on the rims of my dress.

Sven pulled out a chair for me.

"Why, thank you Sven." I said before taking a seat.

I took my first bite. It was like scrumptious fireworks exploding in my mouth and landing on my tastebuds. My mouth was watering. I took another bite to try and quench my hunger but alas, it did nothing for me as i soon took three more bites.

"Wow! Did you really make this?" I said, now focusing my attention to Kristoff.

"Yup. But... with a little help from the castle chefs of course." He said.

"Well... Good job! I could eat this for forever and I wouldn't even get sick of it!" I said.

As I scanned the long dining table for other food to eat, I spotted a particularly memorable looking dish that warmed my heart. Anna saw me staring at it.

"Go ahead. I know it was yours and Jackson's favourite. He'd make it for you all the time! Come on! Have a bite." She said, smiling at me.

"Thank you." I said, giving her the biggest and happiest smile.

I munched on the fish piece by piece, every bite I took was another memory being played right before my eyes. Then suddenly, I remembered a time when Jack did a hilarious trick on Anna. I almost choked of laughter.

"Elsa! Are you okay? What happened?" Anna said.

"Hey... Do you remember the time when... you know.. Pffft!" I said unable to hold in my laugh and unable to finish my sentence.

"Spit it out, Els! I want to know!" Anna said, bickering.

"Alright. Alright.." I said, stopping myself from furthermore laughing.

"Good. Now... Tell me!" She said.

"So... Do you still remember the time when Jackson played a trick on you. You know, the one when all three of us were having lunch and he disappeared for like a whole minute and.." I said, gesturing to her to continue my sentence.

"Then, what happened!" Olaf said.

"Then, he came back but this time he had a frog in his hands. Elsa saw him holding the frog in his hands and you know what?" Anna said, leaning in closer towards the bevy of people.

"What?" Kristoff and Olaf said.

Sven tilted his head, curious to know what happened next.

"She didn't do anything! She put one finger on her lips and said 'shush!'. By the the time I saw her doing that, it was too late the frog had jumped off of my head and on to my porridge! It scared the shit out of me! But in the end we just laughed it off." she said shrugging.

We laughed and laughed until our stomachs could not handle it anymore. Anna spoke up.

"Now it's my turn." she said, evil grinning.

"What? Oh, no. No. No. No. No!" I said, pleading for her to stop.

"Sorry Els, this is what you get." she said.

She cracked her knuckles and stretched her arms.

"Okay! I'm ready! Pay attention!" She said.

"Oh, no.." I said covering my face.

"Shush! No talking please. Now, where should I start? Ooh! I know! So, there was this time when our friend, Ronda the daughter of the Duke of Weselton, came to visit us. We were taking a stroll down the garden and we saw Jackson with Elsa. Of course our curiosities took hold of us and we sneaked in and spied on them." She said.

"Noo! Anna!" I said, turning red of embarrassment.

"So we heard them talking all romantic and stuff and suddenly he started leaning in closer to her. He was planning to kiss her! Ronda and I grinned. So, we snuck out of our hiding place. When he was getting closer and closer and when she closed her eyes and moments from kissing, someone whispered 'eat balls' into his ear. It was Ronda disguising her voice as Elsa's. In his confusion, he checked if anyone else was there playing tricks on him. Too bad he didn't see us! He said to her, 'hey, did you say anything?' then she said, 'no'. So when he wanted to continue where he left off, I put a dirty underwear we found from a basket nearby and put it between them! They ended up kissing one of our guests' dirty laundry! Hahaha!" She said, clapping of enthusiasm.

Everyone laughed, including me.

"No fair! that was going to be my first kiss!" I said, pouting.

"Cock-blocking Elsa and Jackson, huh? Let's just hope Els doesn't get any ideas." Kristoff said, raising a brow.

"Whatever!" Anna and I said in unison.

Today was a good day after all. I am glad I get to share these stories with my family.
