~Merida's POV~

Astrid was giving my siblings and I a tour of Berk. The Island was small but surrounded by a beautiful dark blue ocean. I was mesmerized. Small but sturdy, as our tour guide would describe it.

"And this is where we train!" Astrid said proudly.

"Woah..." I let out a sound of disbelief and wonder.

There were vikings training with dragons, others battling each other and shooting arrows at targets! My kind of place! I step forward to get a better view, when...

"Your highness, it's not safe to be down there...". Astrid said in a warning tone.

She looked from top to bottom at the long and beautiful dress I was wearing.

"Especially for someone like you..." She whispered, thinking that I would not hear her ignorant reasoning.

"You needn't worry." I stated.

My brothers trying not to laugh at Astrid's cluelessness, watch and observe the situation.

"Watch and learn." I said, smirking.

I grab a bow and arrow and aim at the furthest wooden target. I shoot. With little to no effort, the bow lands in the center of the target. A direct hit. The crowd of men and women whom were originally training auplauded. Astrid was dumfounded.

"Don't judge a book by its cover." I said happily to have proven my point.

~Astrid's POV~

Seriously. She is beautiful, rich and now from out of the blue is athletic! I apparently misjudged her. I feel regretful. It would be best to apologize to her.

She did not seem like someone who would be interested in those kinds activities. I thought she would be some snobbish little brat from Scotland but quite the contrary, she had proven herself otherwise.

"Well today turned out to be a wonderful day." I said sarcastically.

~Hiccup's POV~

"Man, this crate is really heavy! What's inside, a horse!" Tuffnut exclaimed.

Suddenly on of the sides of the giant crate flung open. It was a horse!

"I was not expecting that." Tuffnut stated.

"Me either... Me either..." I said in shock.

"Quick! Before it goes any further! I have a bad feeling about this." Fishlegs exclaimed, clearly worried.

We were chasing after a horse.

"Great..." I said sarcastically.

~Astrid's POV~

What is that sound? Loud thuds from the ground penetrated the walls of the bustling training area. The sounds kept getting closer and closer until...

"What? A horse!" I said confused. Many weird and unusual things have been happening today.

"Angus!" The three princes said in a surprised but happy tone.

"Huh... Angus?" Merida said puzzled by the situation.

She turned around and was greeted by a horse being ridden by Hamish, Hubert and Harris. Cheeky little princes. Merida and I start laughing uncontrollably.

Suddenly, Hiccup, Tuffnut and Fishlegs arrive at the scene looking very tired and sweaty.

"Hiccup! Babe! What happened?" I said very concerned.

"Long story... Tuffnut, crate, horse escaping and us chasing it." Hiccup said, pointing over to the panting Tuffnut and Fishlegs.

Merida and I glance at each other for a moment and laugh even more uncontrollably at the hilarious sight that is my fiance and his friends.

"We gave Angus a sedative that makes animals sleepy. So, you know... They won't get sea sick. But for some reason he qqqoke up way earlier than expected!" Merida said apologetically.

"Its alright." Hiccup said tiringly.

"Really?" Merida and her siblings questioned Hiccup's decision.

"Nah! Its fine! Really!" Hiccup said trying to reassure everyone.

Merida pats his back and said, "Get some rest Chief! After chasing a horse all day it must be tiring."

"Yeah." Hiccup said smiling in the end.

Weird. I haven't seen him smile like that since Stoick died. How heartwarming. It might have not been such a bad idea after all inviting royalty to Berk. But a pang of jealousy keeps crawling up my spine when I see Merida and Hiccup together. I know I am his fiance but... I still get jealous.
