- Cody's POV -

For the rest of the class Miss Autumn hired out all the dance studios to let us practise our assignments, me and Bethany hadn't even started and we had to present in four days.

Hayden had no partner as Kim was still in hospital, so we let him watch me and Bethany rehears.

"We need to choose music first" Bethany said while scrolling down a list of classical piano pieces while I stretched at the barre. Hayden sat in the corner of the room completely blanked out and looking into space. I can't imagine how he is feeling right now.

"I've got one!" Bethany shouted a minute later before turning on the music player. The loud intense music began to play and Hayden jumped in fear. I glanced over at him and smiled slightly, He looked away and pulled his knees to his chest.

Bethany was playing a full orchestra performance, she started to dance around the room like she was drunk at a club. I laughed loudly and joined her, Hayden was disconnected from reality once again.

"You guys are going to fail if you don't take this seriously!" Hayden shouted with an angry expression, Bethany took offence.

"Well at least I have a partner!" She shouted back over the music. I stared at them both in shock.

"Bethany!" I said angrily, she bit her lip as Hayden stormed out of the studio.

"Are you kidding me Beth!" I shouted after pausing the dramatic music, she sighed and made her way over to the barre.

Suddenly my phone began to ring loudly, I grabbed it to see it was Casey calling me.

"Hello?" I said while leaning on the wall.

"Hi baby bruv! How is your second year of first year going?!" She shouted before laughing loudly, I rolled my eyes.

"It's going fine. Just a bit dramatic is all.." I explained, Bethany looked over at me weirdly.

"Aw how come? I'm about to go on stage for my fourth performance this week! Are you jealous Cody?" She said enthusiastically.

"No I am not jealous. I don't even want to be a dancer!" I shouted angrily.

"Oh really? Then why are you at the academy of dance? You're so stupid" Casey said, in the background there was the crowd cheering and lots of people chatting around her.

"I'm being forced to because of you! You ruined my life now fuck off!" I screamed before hanging up and throwing my phone at my bag. Bethany clapped sarcastically.

"That was an intense phone call, who was it?" She asked while stretching her arms out.

"My sister Casey, she's going on to do her swan lake performance and decides to call me to rub it in my face" I explained while approaching Bethany. She gasped in shock then turned to face me.

"Your sister is Casey Landers?! The youngest professional ballerina?!?" She shouted in excitement. I nodded and sighed.

"My dad used to love her! She won all the competitions for the academy, she also came to my house for dinner once" Bethany said before beginning to stretch again.

"Woop-de-doo" I huffed while lying down on the ground.

Hayden is right, we're never going to pass.
