Chapter Seven // Pizza and Disney

- Ella's POV -

"Hello class!" A lady in a red dress and huge high heels said as she strutted to the front of the room. She turned to face everyone and smiled.

"Come into the centre!" She shouted, Alison pushed to the front and Bethany rolled her eyes.

"I'm Miss Autumn, I'll be taking you all year for classic ballet" She said with a smile. I almost squeaked with excitement but I tried to contain myself.

"Since this is our first class and we don't know much about each other.."

"Ha, that's were she's wrong" Bethany whispered, I laughed slightly.

"..I thought we could do some ice breaker games! Let's get in a circle" Miss Autumn said.

"Who wants to start first?.."

Suddenly the dance studio doors burst open and there stood Cody, the angry birds guy.

"Cody! You're late!" Miss Autumn shouted with a blank expression.

"Yeah sorry Rachel I was having breakfast" He said while throwing his bag to the side of the room and joining the circle. He smiled over at me and I looked down as if I was ashamed to even know the guy.

"In class I am Miss Autumn to you, and since you made such a great impression on us all why don't you tell us about yourself Cody" She said while raising her eyebrow. He nodded and rubbed his hands together.

"Well.. I'm Cody Landers and I'm seventeen years old. I was in first year last year but instead of letting me go to second year the school are making me repeat because I slacked off too much.." He explained. Alison began to laugh quietly, I looked over at her angrily and she saw me.

"I don't even want to be here but my parents are annoying and make me. This is the career they want me to do, but hey I'm not old enough to choose what I want! Am I right?!" He began to shout with anger.

"Alright that's enough Cody" Miss Autumn said with a sigh.

"You, you're up" She said pointing to Alison.

Alison moved into the centre of the circle and smiled at everybody. Her smile was beautiful yet frightening at the same time.

"My name is Alison Crawford, I'm sixteen and this is not my second time taking first year" She said while glancing over at Cody and laughing.

"I've been dancing since I was two years old, it's like.. My life. I'm very excited to be here and be apart of-"

"Ugh. Would she stop with the sucking up to Miss Autumn already?" Bethany whined in my ear. I nodded in agreement.

"Lovely Alison!"

"Next.. You" Miss Autumn said while pointing to Kim, my roommate. Kim stood silent and shrugged her shoulders, everyone stared at her weirdly.

"Your name?.." Miss autumn said with confusion.

"Kim" She whispered, the other side of the room couldn't hear what she said.

"Did you find anything on Kim while researching?" I whispered to Bethany, she shook her head.

"Nothing. I was quite surprised"

What if she's a serial killer? And I'm sharing a bedroom with her.

"Alright let's move on to Bethany" Miss Autumn said.

"Um how do you already know her name Miss Autumn?" Alison said with a look of jealously on her face.

"Bethany's dad owns the academy" She said answering Alison. She looked so angry.

"I'm Bethany Hastings and I'm sixteen. My dad owns this place and I'm forced to attend.. Don't get me wrong ballet is great but I don't think I should be involved in it.. Anyway, I like to sleep and eat cake" Bethany said before bowing and returning to her spot. I began to laugh and Miss Autumn rolled her eyes.

"You! All you have done is laugh this whole class, it's your turn now" She shouted while pointing to me. I shut up immediately and stepped forward.

"U-uh I'm Ella Steele, sixteen years old and I've always wanted to dance since I was little. My favourite food in pizza and Disney is like.. My life" I said with a huge smile, Alison laughed to herself once again. Bethany began to clap and cheer.

"You next" Miss Autumn said pointing to Hayden, the guy who helped me with my bags.

"Hello, I'm Hayden Matthews and I'm sixteen years old. Dancing is a big passion of mine and I've always wanted to be apart of a dance academy. I'm also in a local football team and.. My favourite food is brownies" He said with a smile before stepping back into the circle once again.

"Well.. That was interesting" Miss Autumn said.
