Chapter Fifty Eight // The End

- Alison's POV -

The assignment day was finally here and it was a big deal because Casey Landers was watching all of our performances. Me and Ella got up before Cody and Bethany, they were lying on the floor covered with popcorn and blankets. We went to the shower room to get ready for the day ahead.

The girls shower rooms were disgusting, they never get cleaned. Only one of the showers were properly working so Ella went first and I waited while avoiding the clumps of hair and unhygienic puddles all over the cold floor.

"Are you nervous for today?" Ella shouted as she cleaned herself, I glanced into the mirror beside the bathroom and sighed at my body.

"I guess so, Casey Landers is watching us so we better be amazing" I answered a minute later, it was 7:00am and no body else was awake so the boarding house was silent. I looked like a marshmallow in the mirror, my legs were like tree trunks and my arms were too muscular to belong to a girl. I put my head in my hands and sighed.

"I'm finished!" Ella shouted, I quickly composed myself before she saw me.

"I'm going to go back to my room to get ready" She said before kissing me on the cheek, I nodded and watched her leave. The shower rooms were now empty, which meant I could cry over my ugliness.

I kicked the mirror angrily which made it crack and hurt my foot, I yelped in pain and limped into the shower. Great, Now I have an ugly body and a bleeding foot. I quickly showered and then left the shower room, Cody and Bethany were still passed out on the bedroom floor.

"Wake up!!" I shouted loudly, Cody screamed like a girl and hid under the blankets. Bethany laughed loudly and began to eat the popcorn that was stuck to her pyjamas, Gross.

"Class starts in half an hour guys.." I muttered while walking over to my make up desk, Cody and Bethany glanced at each other in fear then sprinted to the shower rooms. They are never going to get through this year. I dried my hair and tied it in a perfect bun, I then put on some light make up and got into my baby pink leotard and white tights. I'm ready to show Casey Landers who is boss, I smiled at myself in the mirror then left my bedroom before hearing a loud ringing noise in my head which caused my head to spin. I stopped walking and grabbed onto the wall, the dizziness is back.

It disappeared after a few minutes and I knocked Ella's door, not speaking a word of what just happened. She opened it and smiled widely at me, then we linked arms and walked down the stairs.

"We are going to be the best" Ella said positively as we walked to the dinner hall. Ella grabbed a few pieces of fruit and then we headed to the academy, I was feeling really nervous. She handed me a banana as we walked down the street and I stared at her sadly.

"You have to have something before we dance, you need strength and energy" Ella explained before biting into an apple.

"Hey guys wait up!" Bethany shouted from behind us, Ella glanced back and I quickly threw the banana into the nearest bush.

"Where's Cody?" Ella asked Bethany when she caught up with us, we continued to walk.

"He's already at the academy, His sister wanted to see him before class started" Bethany said while tying her hair into the messiest pony tail I have ever seen, Ella rolled her eyes and we entered the huge glass front doors of the academy.

The dance studio had an intense vibe as soon as we entered, Cody was in the corner of the room talking to Casey and he looked really nervous. Mr Hastings entered the room and Bethany gave him a high five, he wasn't impressed.

"Just to let you all know that we found Kim last night, She is safe in hospital" Mr Hastings said with a smile, the class sighed with a relief and I gave Ella a hug.

"I'm so glad she is alive.." Ella whispered happily, I nodded in agreement.

"Alison and Ella?!" Miss Autumn shouted, she was sitting at the piano with her clipboard. Me and Ella approached her nervously.

"You two are first" She said with a smile, Shit. Ella rubbed my arm slightly before we got into our pointe shoes and began to stretch at the barre. Bethany gave us a thumps up as she sat with the rest of the class, it's now or never.

After a few minutes of warming up me and Ella got into first position,  Casey Landers sat beside Miss Autumn and the class went silent. I nodded to Cody who was in charge of the music, he pressed play.

The music began slow, me and Ella mirrored each others moves and positions though mine were more fierce and exaggerated while hers were floaty and light. The music started to get faster and we crossed paths brushing across each other, until my head began to ring loudly once again. I tried to block it out as much as I good but I missed a step, everyone was staring at me weirdly.

It got louder and louder and I stopped dancing and keeled over as my head spun like I was on a carousel. My eyes closed and I fell to the ground.

- Ella's POV -

"Alison?! Alison are you okay?!" Bethany shouted as everybody ran onto the floor, I glanced over and saw Alison unconscious. I was so focused on the dance I barely noticed what was happening.

"Alison?" I said before crying, I pushed everyone out of the way and sat down on the floor before her.

"Can somebody call an ambulance?! - Is she still breathing?!" People shouted, Miss Autumn grabbed her phone and called the ambulance.

"Give her some space!" Casey shouted, But I wouldn't leave her side. I knew I should've said something.

"Does anyone know what's wrong with her?!" Miss Autumn asked, I cried loudly and nodded.

"S-She hasn't been eating" I admitted while crying more, Bethany lifted me up and took me to the side of the room before a few doctors ran in and set her on a stretcher.

"She's going to be fine, It'll all be fine" Bethany assured me while rocking side to side with me in her arms, I held onto her jacket tightly while watching them take Alison out of the dance studio.

- Cody's POV -

Me and Bethany sat outside the dance studio on the cold wooden floor, She was eating a packet of salt and vinegar crisps.

"Should you really be eating those before our assignment?" I asked while glancing over at her angrily, She nodded and proceeded to stuff her face with them.

It was 2:00pm now, Everybody was told to leave after Alison collapsed and the assignments were continuing later on in the day.. As in now.

Me and Bethany were last to do ours, I think Casey just wanted to see me last so she could criticize and make fun of me. I sighed loudly and began to pray, Bethany laughed loudly at me.

"Dude, We'll be fine" Bethany said with a smile, I nodded.

"Cody and Bethany, You're up" Miss Autumn shouted from inside the dance studio, I looked over at Bethany in fear. She rolled her eyes and kissed my cheek, Then looked into my eyes.

"Me and you are going to fucking kill this, We will be the best" She said with determination written all over her face. I nodded and smirked.

We entered the dance studio and ran into the middle of the room, Bethany let go of my hand and we got into our first position.

"Ready?" Miss Autumn asked.

"Ready"

And the music began to play..
