- Hayden's POV -
I stormed out of the academy and ran to the nearest bus stop while digging into my pockets for some spare change. It was a cold and miserable day and I was in a vest top and black tights, ballet uniform isn't accepted in the outside world.
I jumped on the bus and got an awkward stare from the bus driver, I gave him all my change and sat down at the back of the bus while all the elders looked me up and down.
"I'm a dancer alright!" I shouted angrily before staring out the window.
The bus finally stopped in front of the hospital and I hopped out and rushed into the reception.
"Sorry, visiting time isn't for another three hours" The woman said while chewing her gum loudly. I gripped my hands on to the table and took a deep breath.
"I need to see her right now" I said seriously, she glanced up at me and laughed.
"You heard what I said, now go away" She said rudely, without thinking I stormed passed the desk and into the wards. I began to climb the stairs to get to Kim's room.
"Security!" The woman shouted from behind me, a tall man stopped me and dragged me down the stairs.
"I need to see her!" I yelped as he shoved me out of the hospital. Fuck!
Kim was only on the first floor, I could've got to her if that stupid receptionist didn't pay attention to me.
I sat on the grass outside the hospital and thought for a moment, I glanced back at the hospital with a smile.
There was a small path leading around the hospital to the car park, I followed it and kept my eyes on the first floor of the hospital. I began to count the rooms to find which window was Kim's room.
- Kim's POV -
Hospitals are so boring, I don't understand why I'm not allowed to leave. I wasn't wired up to machines anymore but I was 'on watch' and random women constantly came into my room asking how I was feeling. I was tired of saying fine.
My arms were bandaged and stitched up, they didn't really hurt that much anymore.
Suddenly there was lots of tiny pebbles being thrown at my hospital window, I looked over in slight terror. Is it raining stones?
They continued to hit my window so I decided to get up and see what was going on. I jumped out of my huge hospital bed and let my bare feet touch the cold wooden floor, I slowly walked over to the window and looked out.
Directly under me was Hayden with a bunch of stones in his hands, he dropped them when he saw me and began to wave. I waved back and rang him on my phone.
"Hayden what the hell are you doing?" I asked while still looking down at him, he sat down on the pavement and sighed.
"I wanted to see you, the shitty receptionist wouldn't let me in" He explained, I smiled and glanced around.
"I could sneak out if you like" I suggested, he looked up at me and shook his head.
"No you will not I could get arrested for that" Hayden said nervously, I laughed loudly and pushed my hand against the glass. He stared up at me and held out his hand to the sky.
We were completely silent on the phone but it was okay, everything was okay.
