- Hayden's POV -
Me and Kim said goodbye to the group and then the boarding house was silent.
"What now?" Kim asked while looking back at me, I had a great idea.
"Get your pointe shoes" I said with a smirk, she looked at me weirdly when ran up to her bedroom. I grabbed my bag and waited for her at the front door of the boarding house.
"You know I'm not allowed to d-dance, the hospital said so" Kim said as she approached me, I took her hand in mine and then we walked to the academy.
It was a beautiful night, the sun was slowly setting in the distance and the street was completely silent. Me and Kim walked without saying a word to each other, I was just enjoying her company.
We got to the academy and I opened the door and let her enter first, it was very quiet inside and the receptionist smiled at me.
"What are we even d-doing Hayden?" Kim asked with a grin, I took her to one of the dance studios I had booked. On the floor in the middle of the studio was a picnic basket with lots of treats inside, I put out a blanket to sit on and had some music playing quietly in the background.
"Is this a d-date?" Kim said with a huge smile, her smile made me unable to speak because I got lost in it every time. I nodded slightly and guided her to the middle of the studio, we sat down and began to tuck into the sandwiches and chocolate bars.
"What's g-going to happen to our assignment?" Kim asked with a frown, she had chocolate all over her mouth and I couldn't help but giggle.
"Nothing, it's not happening I guess" I said before shuffling over beside her and wiping her face with some cloth. She blushed slightly but then sighed.
"I'm sorry" Kim whispered while looking up at me, I looked away and shrugged.
"I'm just glad you're alive" I muttered while pushing the loose strands of hair behind her ears, she smiled slightly but didn't look away.
"I.. I love you" I blurted out before awkwardly looking away, did I just say that?! Oh my god I'm so stupid, I'm a disgrace I am so-
My annoying overthinking thoughts were interrupted by the press of Kim's lips to my cheek, she pulled away and I glanced at her and then she kissed me again. It was like she was stealing all the oxygen from my lungs but in the best way possible.
I kissed her back and pulled her close to hug her, this girl means everything to me.
"Thank you for k-keeping me alive" Kim whispered as she cuddled me, my heart thumped harder than it ever had.
I'm definitely dreaming right now and I'm definitely in love.
