Chapter Fourty Four // Returning

- Kim's POV -

It was Saturday at 7:30am and I was being discharged from the hospital. The doctors said I shouldn't dance if it's putting so much pressure on me but they don't get it, they don't understand anything.

The academy had a therapist on stand by for anybody who needed to talk and also a 'suicide watcher' who would regularly check up on me in my bedroom.

When I got back to the academy everyone was in morning classes so I could settle myself back in before seeing everybody.

Me and Ella's bedroom looked exactly the same but much messier, she had thrown most of her clothes on my bed. I pushed them off and sat down slowly before smiling to myself, I sorta missed this place.

Anything is better than a hospital, right?

Hayden hadn't physically seen me in days and he was getting impatient, I didn't tell him I was getting out today though because I wanted it to be a surprise.

I decided to rest for a bit before going back to the academy, the room smelt like dust and soggy underwear but at least it was more homely than anywhere else..

"Kim?!?? Oh my god it's Kim!" Ella screamed when she opened the door, I jumped out of bed quickly and gave her a huge hug. She began to cry and that's when I realised I've actually found a group of people who love and care for me more than anyone else.

"Kim! How are you?" Cody said before giving me a hug, I nodded slightly.

"Alright I g-guess" I stuttered quietly, Bethany entered the room and also gave me a hug.

"I'm here for you whenever you need me Kim" Bethany said with a reassuring smile, I thanked her then her and Cody went for lunch.

"I'm so glad you're back Kim, it's been shitty without you" Ella said while wiping her eyes with a tissue.

"You need to c-clean this room, it's a mess!" I shouted with a sassy tone, she began to laugh then agreed with me. There was a knock on the door and it was Alison, I think I was more shocked than Ella to see her here.

"Hi Kim, just making sure you're alright" She said quietly, I nodded and thanked her. Suddenly Alison was pushed and she almost fell into the pile of Ella's dirty laundry because Hayden had ran into the bedroom.

"KIM OH MY GOD" He screamed loudly before picking me up and spinning me around, I hugged him tightly and laughed.

Ella and Alison were giving each other awkward eye contact the whole time.

"I missed you so much how are you?!" Hayden asked while looking me up and down, I shrugged my shoulders.

"A little b-bit weak still, I'm g-getting there" I explained with a smile, Hayden kissed my cheek and Ella made the "OoOO" sound.

Cody called all the first years downstairs into the sitting room once again, he looked around the room like we were his people and he was the king.

"We are going out tonight guys! I know a really great club in the next town over, it's going to be great" He explained while everyone cheered and started to freak out about what they would wear.

"I c-can't go" I said sadly, Hayden glanced over at me.

"I'll stay with you, Ella can go party with Beth" He said with a smile, Ella agreed and so did I.

"Thank you so much Hayden"
