- Kim's POV -
It was getting dark outside and everybody was hanging out in the seating area of the boarding house. Being around all those people would give me more anxiety than I could handle, but I had no time for chit chat anyways.. I had a dancing date with bossy Hayden.
Ella wished me luck and I headed to the dance studio in my flowery green leotard, it was incredibly cold outside.
When I got to the academy it was silent, the woman at the main desk looked up at me.
"Are you here to rehears?" She asked, I nodded quickly and she let me in. When I got to the studio that Hayden told me to come to there was nobody to be seen. I dropped my bag on the floor and began to freely dance around, it felt good to do this again.
"Wow, nice moves" Hayden said from the door, he was watching me. I blushed slightly and stood still.
"I didn't think you would show up after what happened earlier" He said while entering and approaching me, I shrugged my shoulders.
"Why don't you speak?" He asked quietly but this time he didn't look angry. I didn't feel uncomfortable like I did earlier.
"I-I.. I can't" I muttered, he looked shocked that I had opened my mouth.
"You can't? Why?" He asked again, I sighed heavily and nervously played with my hands.
"I have a s-speech problem" I said loudly, I felt proud of myself until I looked up at Hayden's face. He was smiling..
"Thank you for telling me" He said before putting his hand on my shoulder, I brushed him off and he laughed.
"Why aren't y-you making fun of m-me?" I stuttered, he raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not as self centred and rude as everyone thinks you know" He huffed before crossing his arms.
"Can we j-just do the assignment" I asked while walking over to the stereo, Hayden followed me.
"I was thinking we could do the most powerful pas de deux of all.. A love story" He said with a twinkle in his eye, I stared at him weirdly and chuckled.
"What? It's a great idea" Hayden said with a frown.
"It's p-predictable.." I said quietly, he stroked his chin as if he was thinking.
"We'll make it good then, it was the first thing that came into my head and I thought it was great" He said proudly.
Hayden took my hand and lead me into the middle of the dance studio, the music began to play and we instantly clicked.
He didn't even have to tell me which position he was moving to next because I felt like I already knew, the piano piece went perfectly with the dance and he never took his eyes off me the whole time. I felt the connection of this 'love' story he was trying to show in the dance.
"How was that?" Hayden asked me but I didn't answer. I was still in fairytale love land.
"Kim? Helloooo?" He shouted, I looked up at him and smiled.
"I l-loved it!" I said happily, he clapped and danced around like he had accomplished something.
"Do you want to go for a coffee?" He asked shortly after his happy dance, I nodded and smiled. We then packed up and headed to the boarding house.
