- Alison's POV -
I was last to get to the dinner hall and I was dreading every moment of it. There were barely any seats left on the long tables which stretched all the way down the hall, one of the cooks called me over to the table where the food sat.
"You're late for dinner missy!" She said while pouring slop onto a plate.
"Sorry I was showering.. What is this?" I asked when she handed me the plate.
"It's a natural blend of vegetables! Very healthy for you ballet folk" She said with a smile, I nodded and walked away. I am not eating this rubbish.
There was one seat left.. Right beside Ella and Bethany. I made my way over and threw the plate on the table.
"Yo bitch face!" Bethany shouted before laughing, Ella hit her.
"Ssh!" Ella muttered, I just ignored them and stared at the sloppy mess which was my dinner.
"It's actually quite nice" Ella said to me and the quiet girl nodded.
"I didn't ask for a comment" I snared, Bethany hissed at me then continued to make a joke out of everything in the room. They're so childish.
"We're practising tonight Ella, I've got the choreography ready" I explained to her, still not touching my dinner.
"No she's not! We're going out clubbing right Ella?" Bethany shouted while resting her arm on Ella's shoulder.
"No can do Beth, dancing comes first" Ella said. I smirked at Bethany and she frowned.
"Your loss, me and Cody are going to get wasted!"
She shouldn't even be at the academy, such a waste of space if you ask me.
Dinner was finally over and I threw everything into the bin. I grabbed Ella and took her away from her childish posse.
"If you want to succeed in this company then you should really stop hanging out with Bethany" I said to her as we walked to the dance studio, she laughed at me.
"You're just jealous because you have no friends" Ella said before nudging me, I rolled my eyes.
"I don't need friends when I'm top of the academy and the best dancer in the country" I said while proudly walking ahead of her.
It was 6:00pm and we had two hours to rehears. I played the music and went through the choreography with Ella before we began.
- Ella's POV -
At first we both begin lying on the floor opposite each other, we mirror each other's actions except Alison's are more exaggerated because she's the 'dark' or 'evil' side, while I'm the light and angelic side.
I really liked the choreography that Alison had made.
"This is pretty good" I said out of breath, Alison nodded and smiled.
"I know I am" She said, I rolled my eyes.
"I just need to get the ending right and then it'll be flawless" Alison explained while looking at her notebook where she had wrote every move and position we take.
"Maybe at the end the two worlds could collide, bad and good" I suggested, Alison nodded and wrote it down.
We began to try out the ending and we finally came up with an idea.
At the end of the song the two worlds 'bad and good' recognise each other. They stop dancing and meet in the middle, they begin to dance with each other and realise that they're not as bad or good as they thought.
Alison was an amazing dancer, I wish I could be as good as her.
We grabbed each other's hands and spun around quickly then let go when we were on different sides of the room, symbolising that good was now bad and bad was now good.
"I'm so excited to show Miss Autumn this!" I shouted happily.
"It needs a lot more work.. But it's good" Alison agreed. I think we make a good team..
