Brianna's POV:

Michigan is probably the most uneventful state I've ever been in. Wanna know what we did that was worth missing sleep over? No? Well, I'm gonna tell you anyway. We just walked around. Yup, you heard me. Just walked around doing nothing interesting. They didn't even feed me. They kept saying, 'we'll feed you when the time's right.' What the hell is that supposed to mean?

Oh! And to make things worse, we went NOWHERE I wanted to go. It was like they were blatantly ignoring me and I didn't like it; so I decided on giving them the silent treatment.

That's the past and I'm gonna tell you what we're doing now. I'm still giving them the silent treatment while they try and get me to talk but still not feeding me. They won't get me to talk until they feed me and they haven't mentioned food once. I'm starting to think that they want me to die of starvation since I haven't eaten since the plane ride here, which was 6 hours ago. If I don't eat something in the next 10 minutes, I'm going to punch someone in the face.

"Bri, come on or we'll leave you!" Jay groans. He's probably just as hungry as I am.

"We better be getting food or someone's gonna die." I trudge to everybody else and groan when I see we're going to another place that they want to go.

"Alright! That's it! If you don't feed me now 1) Nathan will lose his girlfriend 2) Becca will lose her best friend 3) you guys will lose a dancer and 4) I'll leave and you'll never see me again." I wait for everything to sink in then continue. "So, what do you choose? Feed me or the other?" Don't think I'm lying about them not seeing me again because they won't I'll stay in New York but I'll change dorm rooms and make sure to avoid them at all costs.

Everybody looks to Nathan who then looks at his phone before looking at me. I ignore the awkward atmosphere and wait for Nathan to talk

"We'll feed you. There's this nice place a few streets up so we gotta walk there." I nod and start walking. I don't know where I'm going but at least I know I'm going in the right direction since nobody's told me otherwise.

"Ok. Now you can stop." I stop dead in my tracks and turn to face my torturers.

"Which place?" He points to some Italian place and begins walking in. We follow after and wait to be seated. The first thing I do is reach for the breadsticks since I'm starving.

I eat about 4 before feeling a little bit better. "You ok now?" Siva asks. I nod before drinking some of my soda.

"Good because we have a surprise for you." Surprise? What surprise? Am I getting a pet turtle? I've always wanted a pet turtle.

"Well...what is it?" By now, I'm bouncing in my seat uncontrollably.

"It's not a what but a who." Slowly appearing around the corner is Joe. What the hell is he doing here?

"Hey baby sis." He looks a little nervous and that makes me even more skeptical. "Why are you here Joe? No offense and all but you should be in New York and not Michigan." I look around the table and see everyone fidgeting. Great. There's something else that I'm missing.

"What else is part of this 'surprise'?" Joe starts to shuffle his feet while the others fidget more.

"W-well...there's s-someone I w-want you to meet." I wave my hand in a continue motion. He doesn't say anything, he just steps to the left to reveal some guy.

"And?" I question. "T-this is our dad." I do nothing but stare. How could nobody tell me that my dad was going to be at dinner? They knew I wanted to find him alone but they go behind my back and do it. I know that I should be happy but I feel a little betrayed. My brother, best friend and boyfriend kept this from me and didn't consider how I would feel knowing that everyone knew about my dad before me, his own daughter.
