Paisley -Nevaeh-

After breakfast, I went to my magical creatures class. After that, I spent my class interval time with Star in her stall. I stroked her and sang softly.

Hoot hoot.

I looked around. At this point, I was used to the call of Seekrs. I hadn't bothered to think it could've been mine. That was my mistake.

A ginger owl perched on the stall gate.

Nevaeh Winston. Just as beautiful as ever.

"Huh?" I said.

I'm your Seekr. My name is Paisley. I assume you know what a Seekr is by now, right?

"Yes ma'am," I replied.

Don't call me ma'am. I'm going to be like your best friend, not your best friend's mother.

"Okay,"

Good. Now if you accept me, Mistress, I will be yours.

"I accept you,"

She dissipated. I looked around to see where she had gone.

Down here! I heard something call.

On my right wrist was a red owl tattoo, flitting around, but relatively stationary.

That's right. I'll be with you, whether you like it or not.

I smiled. I liked this Paisley, though she seemed to be capable of sass.

Just then, I saw Drake walk into the stables, Lyze leading a teal dragon into a stall. Drake was, uncommonly, smiling. He saw me and waved. I ran up to him.

"Drake, Drake! I got my Seekr!"

"That's great, can I see it?"

I tapped the tattoo and told her to come to owl form. She obeyed.

She flew about and landed on my wrist, once again dissipating to her tattoo form.

"She seems cool." Drake said. "Well I don't know about you, but I've got to get to class. See you at free time maybe?"

"Okay, bye!"

You love him.

"You're crazy. You don't know anything about me."

I'm your Seekr, I know much about you! And I know you love him.

"No I don't. He's not popular enough," I said, going back to my old instinct.

He makes you feel at home when you don't even feel like you should be here. You visit him if you have a problem. You don't mind spending your free time with him. You love him.

"Oh be quiet," I said as I tapped the tattoo. She became silent.

I know I wouldn't go as far as loving Drake. My friends would pummel me if they saw me as much as look kindly in his direction.

But he wasn't just some idiot-dork at school anymore. He was a person, with feelings and actions. And I may, just may, take kindly to that person.
