Before I could respond the school bells rang 7 times. Everybody groaned.
"Huh?" I asked
"It's what we have to do next. The warrior run."
We all walked out was to the vast track, it had to be that big so all 2048 students could do what ever this was at the same time.
We all lined up-all the divisions-in one big line. I was in between Nevaeh and Oreo. For better or worse. Speaking of worse, Nevaeh couldn't be in worse shoes or if it right now. How was she going to run 20 miles in that...
Whoever was at the start of line started sprinting. That meant everybody else had to do. I could already tell I was going to hate this. And did I? Yes,yes I did. Well, I hated it until I had to run to the front.
Hated it more.
One mile done, 19 more to go.
