Everyone left the arena. It was only me and Exel now. He led me to the center.

"Your opponent is late." He growls.

I stand blankly. I don't move. I don't want to. But I can speak.

"Why are you so cruel...I could've helped." I whisper.

That heartless beast didn't respond. He only stood. Minutes passed.

Soon a blonde girl with a pixie cut marched in. She looked, what's the word? Plastic. A fake. Her eyes were a drab grey. But they weren't natural. I looked at her again.

"You remind me of someone..." I began.

No response.

"Hello?" I asked, waving my hand in front of her.

Exel slapped my hand, so I put it down. I glared at him. He didn't look back, he only looked at the girl.

"Katy...fight." He instructed, nodding his head at the girl.

Wait...KATY?!

She was nowhere in sight, then I felt a searing pain in my back. Her claws retracted, but she shoved me onto the floor. I squabbled, but still managed to stand.

Katy dove at me, but I dove to. I scraped her cheek just as she fell. She didn't even wince at the scarlet liquid oozing from her, for instead she went back at me.

I dodged her attack and pounced on her, cutting her stomach.

"KATY! THIS IS NOT LIKE YOU!!!" I screamed as we both tumbled on the floor once again.

No. Response.

"KATY!!!!" I screamed.

We jabbed at each other, but we could never fully scratch our opponent. I tried standing up, but Katy grabbed me and shoved me down. One foot was on my chest and a Claw was touching my throat. Katy gave me an evil grin.

Finally, Exel screamed,

"Stop!"

Katy stopped and stood up. I also stood up, and turned around to face Exel.

"What. Did. You. Do." I snapped between breaths.

"Why do you need to know?" He sneered.

I turned to Katy, but all I saw was a whisp of sawdust that had been flying in the wind.

I turned to Exel.

Gone.
