Haiku is a poetic form and a type of poetry from the Japanese culture. Themes include nature, feelings, or experiences. The most common form for Haiku (which I will be using) is three short lines. The first line usually contains five syllables, the second line seven syllables, and the third line contains five syllables. A total of seventeen syllables. In addition, haiku doesn't rhyme. Don't worry about counting on your fingers for the syllables because I do that all the time!
