XCIX Poem Challenge--20--Tanaga

The tanaga consists of four lines with seven syllables. The rhyming scheme...AABB, ABAB, ABBA; to freestyle forms such as AAAB, BAAA, or ABCD. The tanaga usually doesn't have a title because they should speak for themselves. 

Remnants of the bloody war

A lasting scar worn by vets

And around the necks of pets

Not used for things you abhor
