Haibun is prose (compact: 20-180 words) combined with one or more haiku poems. The haiku poem can serve as a climax.

A/N: Having a bit of writer's block with my ode. Will finish that soon hopefully.

The door creaks on its hinges as I steal into her sleeping quarters. Without hesitation, I brush aside a curtain enveloping the bed. Her steady breaths comfort me and I take her tiara, acting as a trophy. A lone sentinel takes a shot at me, but the arrow is poorly aimed. Nobody can stop me. I take a weapon out of its sheath and raise it above my head.

Swift stab of the knife

Arterial spray paints me

And I feel nothing
