"Shirts?"

"Check."

"Shoes?"

"Check."

"Pants?"

"Check."

"Toothbrushes?"

"Check."

"Lotion?"

"Uh, check."

"Swimsuits?"

"Check."

"Alright, that is it and that should last us a week in the beautiful San Salvador, Bahamas." I say with a smile throwing the paper on the bed. Tobias wraps his arms around my waist and buries his face in the crook of my neck.

Today we are finally leaving the frozen state and going to the Bahamas. I am so excited because I just want to feel the sand in between my toes and the sun rays on my skin. . . to a certain extent though.

"You are the only girl I know who can pack everything she needs in two bags. . . for a week." Tobias says with a surprised look on his face as he releases me and we both haul the bags to the front for easy access to take down to the lobby when the van gets here.

"Well, I don't really need much. Just my clothes, shoes, chargers, and mascara, eyeliner, and some type of lip stain." I say sitting down on the couch. Me packing a little bit is true, I don't need a three outfits for one day each day, just something comfortable to wear with my different bathing suits. I don't need concealer, foundation, blush, and 30 different lipsticks.

Just like when I first came here, I barely had anything. Let alone money.

"Same here, minus the make up though." Tobias says plopping down beside me and I smile, I am going to miss our dogs though. Hercules and Zeus, Hana, Christina's parents were nice enough to watch our dogs until we got back instead of paying for a dog sitter.

They love our dogs and us which is great, they called us and asked us if they needed a free dog sitter and we let them watch Zeus and Hercules but of course we gave them money for their selves which was 100 dollars, almost the same charge for a dog sitter for that amount of time.

While we sit there talking about all of the fun activities we get a call from Christina saying that the van is downstairs and waiting on us to take us all to the airport. Instead of driving to the airport, and paying for a parking ticket we are just going to take a shuttle van. We have to hurry because they charge for waiting, which is completely insane so we grab our things, check the temperature of the house, make sure we have our phones and chargers, headphones and the lights are off we finally make our way down the to the elevator.

We go outside and I sigh once the cold wind slaps me in the face, I am definitely am not going to miss this. Portland's weather is worse than Chicago for us to be the 'Windy City'.

We get in the first row which is right behind the driver, Christina is sitting in the passenger seat while Will and Al sits on the same row with us. Marlene, Uriah, and Amber are behind us then Shauna, Lynn, Zeke, and Duke are way in the back then there is the luggage. It is a little bit uncomfortable but we only have to sit like this for thirty minutes until we get to the airport.

Christina has our whole schedule planned out, even today when we arrive.

Today, which is Sunday, we are supposed to arrive and unpack at Guanahani Beach Club Resort. The reviews said that it is beautiful and almost like an excluded little island to yourself and steps away from the white sand beach.

Then after we finish unpacking, we are going to go sight seeing for a little bit around town then go on the boardwalk, then grab some food and go back to our room to eat. Then all I know is Monday is going to be a chill day to eat food and shop, after that it is a lot of activities planned that I can't even tell which day is which.

We make it on time to the airport, we were able to get our luggage weighed, and then get on the plane in time. If we left any later we would have been late or missed the flight, I am sitting on the inside seat with Tobias beside me and then Zeke, Shauna, and Amber and Duke. Then in front of me is Christina, Will, Uriah, Lynn, Al, and Marlene.

I know there is a three hour time difference at the Bahamas, they are three hours ahead of us, so when we arrive it should be three when we get there since we left at twelve. We decided to leave in the afternoon instead of the morning so we can get there in the afternoon and not ten in the morning in the morning. Our little 'house' is reserved we just have to make it there before midnight.

The warm wind whips in my hair as Tobias drives the rental jeep to Sunrise Road, Snow Bay, which is the street where our hotel is located on. We got rental jeeps since they had cars that were closed in we decided to get something more. . . open, and warm so we got a jeep. We got three, Christina and Will is riding with us. Marlene, Uriah, and Lynn have one and Duke, Amber, Shauna, and Zeke have one.

It is just enough for all of us to sit comfortably.

It feels absolutely great here in the Bahamas, the water looks so fresh, clean, and crisp. I actually had to take off my jacket because I didn't want to have a heat stroke due to the warm weather. I love it here, I still can't get the fact off of my mind on how great it feels.

Tobias follows the GPS and within 15 minutes we are in front of the entrance of the hotel. Christina, and Will get out to go check us and get parking passes. After five minutes they return holding seven sets of keys.

"The lady told us to park in the parking lot which is on the left of here, just to keep straight and she gave us three parking passes." Christina says holding up three removable stickers for the cars. "Five sets of keys, we are in the same 'room' just keys for everyone. Our room is located right on the beach, the next room is about 50 feet away, we basically have our own little section like everyone else."

She gives Tobias a key, Uriah a key, Zeke a key, Will a key, Duke a key, Al a key and Lynn a key. Just enough for everyone, the couples will share a key.

Then she gets back in the car and we start to make our way to the parking deck while I stick the sticker on the inside of the jeep on the top part of the glass so the people would see that we are here instead of towing the car because that would cost money.

We get out of the car, grab our luggage, and make our way to the room. I am beyond excited at this point.
