|Chapter 35|

"I just don't think that you going to work, while being three months pregnant is a good idea."

"But, I told you countless times, that I feel fine and I can go work for a couple of hours; Portland needs me."

"They can need you another time. I am telling you, as your husband to get back in the bed right now while I call out for you. You could barely walk this morning and can't hold down a glass of water, not to mention the fever that you have."

I sigh defeated, I know that once Tobias puts his foot down he means business. No matter how defiant I am or how stubborn I am he sometimes ends up wining.

I don't say anything, I just slip off my sweatpants leaving me in one of Tobias' long sleeve shirts. I sigh and get under the covers throwing the sheets over my body.

"Thanks sweetie, I love you." He says peaking his head under the covers. He pecks my forehead and lifts the material covering my bump and gives it a kiss. "I love you guys too, call me if you need anything." With that he pats the dogs head and leaves the bedroom.

I sigh turning on my back staring up at the ceiling. Before I know it, I am drifted off into a dark land.

When I wake, I wake to the sound of barking. My eyes open and I look to see Hercules on the side of the bed barking with Zeus right behind him jumping around. I think that they are trying to wake me up. That is when I realize that my phone is ringing. Before I could reach over and grab it, I missed the call. I open my eyes to get adjusted to my surroundings. I sit up slowly and grab my phone looking at the time.

11:23 shows on my phone before I unlock it to see who call I missed; a call from Verizon.

They are reminding me that I need to pay the bill. I pull the covers off of me and swing my legs over the bed quickly making my way towards the bathroom to relieve my screaming bladder.

Once I use the bathroom and wash my hands I walk towards the kitchen because I am starving.

I eat a few Oreo's with Nutella, I take my prenatal vitamins and then eat more food. Just as I start looking in the fridge for something to drink, my phone rings again. This time it is Tobias calling me, I answer the phone and I hear grunting in the background. 

"Hello?" 

"Hey beautiful, did I wake you?" 

"Oh no, I just woke up. Why?" 

"Nothing, it just sounds like you just woke up. I just wanted to call and check up on you and see how you are doing." Tobias says and I can almost hear the smile on his face. He is very excited to have kids and I keep asking him what gender does he want but he always says that it doesn't matter and he just wants a healthy baby. I don't even know what I want. 

"Thanks babe, I am just eating some Oreo's and Nutella." I say grabbing the mixed berry drink and pouring it into the glass. 

"Did you take your prenatal vitamins?"

I sigh like a teenage as their parents remind them about a certain task, "Yes, Tobias." He chuckles on the other line as I take a sip of my drink. 

"Well, I am at Initiation helping out. Zeke and Uriah are sparring and it seems like they are bickering more than fighting." Tobias says and I laugh, that does sound like them. "Hopefully, today won't be a long day." 

"Yeah," I say nodding my head. Tobias and I talk for a while. We talk about how the babies are doing, how he wants to take me shopping for baby books and what genders do we think that I am carrying. Eventually, we have to stop talking because Uriah got hurt so he had to go take care of him. Now, I am all lonely, looking out of the big window that has a view of the beautiful city of Portland. I think about the baby, I think about my parents, I think about Chicago and before I know it, I am dialing my Mom's phone number.

"Hello?" She says into the phone, I can just imagine her in fancy clothes holding the phone up to her ear as if she were back in the 60's era. I sigh, letting out all of my frustration out now and answer her in the nicest voice I can muster up. . . you be the humble one Beatrice. 

"Hey mom, how are you?" I ask gripping the pillow with my hand, it's so hard being nice to her. 

"Beatrice?" She questions with a little gasp and I bite my tongue nodding my head even though she can't see me. 

"Yup." I say, "I was just calling to give you some information." I say hoping that she won't answer the question that I just asked her less than a minute ago. I am trying to make this conversation as quick as possible. 

"Is Caleb and Dad around?" I ask and I hear her hum to herself. 

"No, Caleb is at work and no longer lives here, I thought you knew that. But your dad is in his office, can I give him your message?" She says in her usual stuck-up voice, I can't even imagine myself being like her. 

"No, I would like you to put it on speaker phone please. So, I can deliver the message to both of you." I say and I hear some shuffling and then my dad greeting me. 

"Hey Dad, I just wanted to tell you guys that I am pregnant. Three months with twins again." I say feeling sadness consume me for a split second. . . again, I did have twins but they did due to my careless actions. 

"Really?" I hear dad gasp and I nod my head once again. 

"Yes." 

"Are you sure that is what you want?" Mom asks and I sigh and almost click the end button. 

"Yes, Mother. I want these kids, this was actually planned. I know what I want and I know what Four wants and what we want is kids. I'm not here to debate if I want kids or not, I just wanted to let you know that you are going to be grandparents because the is the justice thing to do. Bye," I say and hang up the phone sighing. I look to Hercules and Zeus and give a small smile. 

"That was the hardest thing to do." I tell them and they walk over to me. Zeus and Hercules lay on me but make sure that they lay their heads on my belly to protect the baby. Everything is finally running smoothly.

a/n: Quick filler chapter, I hope everyone is having a good Saturday. This is just a happy early chapter, I have a chapter ready to be updated too for tomorrow. Would you like me to update that chapter today and not update Sunday but update Tuesday or just stick to the regular chapter. The chapter is very fluffy with FourTris, at least I think so.
