Words can't truly describe how I feel about being a mother. I want to be a great mom and be the mom that my mother was never, I want to give my kids ice-cream and let them run wild in the house. Not, schedule piano lessons and tie them down and never let them show how they really feel without being scolded. I think that since Tobias came from a rough background and I came from a stuck-up background that, that means that we will become greater parents than our own.

Usually they say that you should want to be greater than your parents and that is what I want to do, I want to be greater than my parents and I want my kids, kids to be greater than their parents and all the way down the line. We might not have gotten the ideal, and picture perfect lifestyle but that is why we want kids, to give them what we never got.

Last time I've had my period?. . .

About a few weeks back.

I finish up with the paperwork and I stand walking to the front desk, I slide the clipboard on the desk and give her the friendly smile that everyone does. I walk away and sit back beside Tobias who is on his phone, he says that this place gives him the creeps. I don't know why it's just a lot of posters of pregnant women and symptoms and a few pamphlets, sometimes I wonder what goes through his mind.

"I just found out that I have a game in a month, so that means that I have to double my time at the gym again and practice." Tobias says and I pout placing my head on his shoulder looking at the text that his boss just sent him. "I was thinking about this being my last game, well. . . of course I will still compete but I think I would love to train and become like Max and Amar instead." Tobias says and I smile at him.

"That sounds great, I would rather you do that then put your life on the line."

"Tris Eaton!"

I stand up and Tobias stands handing me my bag and places his phone in his pocket. We follow the nurse into a small room where there is a computer desk with a chair and computer with a scale in the back of the wall with a thermometer and blood pressure kit along the wall with a few swabs and rubbing alcohol.

"I'm just going to do a few test, your height and weight, temperature, and blood pressure and then we will move on to the next stage." The nurse says and I smile nodding my head, I am still five feet even which Tobias thought was hilarious. I gained one pound, and my blood pressure is perfectly normal.

The nurse told me that I don't have to worry about the urine test since I told her that I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it came out positive, so they decided to do a blood test and then an ultrasound if I am pregnant from the blood test.

After getting my blood samples, we move on to the room where it seems like we have waited for hours. Tobias is getting restless and annoying making me wonder how is he going to be when I go into labor. It's probably going to be ten times worse, or ten times better. Who know's.

Before Tobias could say something else stupid a male doctor walks into the room. He looks around 45, tall, and has a few grey hairs on his head. He has gray eyes and has pale skin. He is holding a clipboard with a stethoscope around his neck, "Hello Mr. and Mrs. Eaton. I am Dr. Parrish. I will be your doctor for today on checking to see if you are pregnant." He shakes Tobias' hand first and then mine. I basically feel Tobias tensing up, he wanted me to have a female doctor instead of male and this was one of his 'fears'. But, he's old anyways.

"Due to you taking a home pregnancy test and getting the answer that I hope you wanted eliminates the urine test or any other test dealing with the inside of your body. Instead I chose for you to give blood samples which I have now, and once we see the results if you are pregnant we will move on to bigger things." He says sitting on those rolling chairs that has the circle cushion. He sounds like he's like on some type of show like Maury. . .talking about getting results back.

"How can you tell if she is pregnant or not through blood?" Tobias asks as Dr. Parrish writes something down on his clipboard after looking me in the eye with a little flash light and then checks my pulse once again.

"Well, we use the blood and urine test because both test are able to detect the presence of a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin or hCG. We gave you the qualitative hCG because it gives you a simple yes or no result." Dr. Parrish says and Tobias nods his head looking satisfied with the answer. "Are you ready for the results?"

Tobias grabs my hand and we both nod our head, I hope it says yes and the home pregnancy test was correct. "Mrs. Eaton, you are pregnant. Congratulations. You are one month pregnant."

I do a victory dance in my head and Tobias gives me a hug and peck on my head, "Now, that is out of the way. Let's go ahead and listen to this baby's heart beat." Dr. Parrish says and instructs me to lay back and he wheels over the ultrasound little cart over by the bed and turns it on. He starts typing away and he lifts up my shirt and places the goo on my stomach, he instructs Tobias to turn off the light and the cart lights up. Then the sound of thumping fills the room, our baby.

"From what it looks like, it seems like you're having twins!"
