I wake to the sound of crying, I peel open my tired eyes to see Tobias still sleeping next to me. I let out a groan and stretch out my limbs getting out of the warm bed. I walk over to the crib to see Jonah fussing which triggers Matthew to wake up. I am met with two pairs of ocean blue-eyes. I lean down and lift up both of my kids and I go back to the bed.

"Tobias," I shake him with my foot, trying to wake my husband up. He groans and stretches his arms and then sits up, looking deadly tired. "Can you take them really quick please?" Tobias takes his two sons and I see him start to fall asleep again, "Don't fall asleep."

I go to the corner of the room and I get a changing mat with wipes, pacifiers, and a change of clothes. I clear my throat when I see Tobias asleep while holding both of our wining sons. "Tobias!" He jumps at the sound of my voice and holds his hand out to me, I give him the things and he lays the changing table on the bed and places Jonah down and he hands me Matthew who roots towards my breast.

Tobias and I quickly change and feed both of the kids and put them down in the crib, we both take turns taking showers and when I am finished brushing my teeth and hair I get dressed. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans, knee high boots, a black, form-fitting, turtle-neck, and a dark olive vest that comes down a bit above my knee. I keep it open and I go to the bathroom to put in some earrings, I pull my hair into a ponytail and I put on some  mascara, eyeliner, and nude lipstick.

"You look beautiful," Tobias pecks my lips as I exit the bathroom, he's holding both of our boys who are looking at each other with faint smiles to themselves, knowing that they have a good relationship makes me very happy.

"Thanks, let's get them together so we can go." I widen my eyes at him. This will be a big experience for us, Tobias and I are both from Chicago, so it's likely he will run into his father, Marcus. He's nervous because of that and I am nervous because I am going to my parents house. We get the boys in their seats and I place my phone in my pocket and shrug on a winter jacket, I makes sure everyone is bundled up and have our phones and keys before we  leave the hotel room.

"I haven't been here since Thanksgiving," I shake my head as we walk up the cobblestone driveway to go to the front door of the large house, "and that was years ago."

"Same here," Tobias says holding the carrier that has Matthew in it.

I bring my fist up and knock on the wooden door, the door swings open and there stands my mother in a dark red dress perfect for the freezing weather outside her doors, "Beatrice?" She stutters. I give her a smile and step forward, "What a nice surprise." I told her we were coming. . . she must have forgot. She moves out of the way and we come inside, I lean forward and give her a hug.

"Hey mom, nice to see you." She briefly looks down at my hands to see a carrier and a baby bag and gasps. "I had twins."

"Well, lets get them inside." She says moving out of the way and greets my husband. "Andrew!" She shouts and I take a deep breath looking around the familiar house. The hallway is still large with porcelain, white, tiled floor with a large stairwell of steps with burgundy carpet on each steps. Above us all is a large chandelier. I grew up with all of this stuff, but never enjoyed it like my father, mother, and brother. There are tons of people without this stuff, yet we are hoarding it to keep it to ourselves.
