Chapter 8: The Award Show - part 2 -

VIctoria's POV:

"You are on Ms. Justice in 3 minutes." The stage director told me.

"Thank you." I smiled at him.

I was wandering around backstage, feeling a little nervous, hoping not to forget my lines. I had grown used to big crowds such as this but tonight I somehow felt different.

"3...2...1... you are on." The voice in my ear piece told me.

I walked onto stage and instantly cheers, screams and applause were flooding my ears.

I smiled and waved until I reached my spot where everyone could see me. 

"Good evening guys!" I yelled. "How are you guys doing tonight?!" 

A huge cheer went through the crowd.

I grinned at them. "Well, since you are all in a good mood, how about we play a little game?" 

"YEAHHHH!" The crowd agreed.

"Two members in this audience have a ticket on the bottom of their chair. One member is a famous star and the other is a person who came to watch the show tonight." I explained. "On the count of three I want everyone to look under their chair for the lucky ticket." 

"1...2...3!" I shouted.

Everyone scrambled looking for the tickets.

Emily's POV:

After Victoria announced the game rules and counted to three, everyone jumped out of their chairs and looked for the lucky ticket.

I watched after I checked for mine, Taylor grabbing a ticket and grinning.

"YAY!" She shouted while giggling, but she stopped when she saw me staring. 

"Wait, what am I supposed to do with you? I have to go up but I can't leave you alone." She said worriedly looking around.

I could go find Jessi, I thought. 

She flung me up into her arms though before I could say anything and ran up the aisle where Selena was sitting.

"Hey, sorry for such the short notice, but can you take care of Emily until I am done up on stage?" she asked her.

"Sure thing Taylor! I would be happy to spend some time with her." Selena smiled at me. 

I blushed in Taylor's arms.

"Who got the lucky tickets?" Victoria boomed around the large room.

"Come here sweetheart." Selena held out her arms, gesturing for Taylor to put me down.

I shyly sat in Selena's arms, sitting on the edge of her knees. She chuckled and then pulled me closer to her so that I was leaning against her chest. 

I watched as a young boy who said his name was Jacob and Taylor go up onto the stage.  

Victoria's POV:

"Okay then lets get started!" I shouted happily, until I noticed where Taylor was. 

Up here on stage with me. Where was Emily then? 

Taylor must have understood my face because she said to me "Selena." 

I instantly relieved, but then got worried again. Emily is really shy. I noticed this with Taylor this evening. How is she going to react to being keep handed off to different people?
