Emily's POV:
Things had been awkward for the last couple of days. No one really spoke much but I could tell Victoria was trying her hardest to keep me 100% happy.
Max had only came over for dinner last night but I hadn't seen him since the whole 'incident'.
Surprisingly, no one noticed the sweater Jazz had lent me. But I couldn't stop thinking about her and when I got to see her again. I was also deciding if I should tell Victoria about her or maybe just go on my own and keep it to myself.
I decided I would tell her if she asked or wanted to know where I was going.
Finally one day I picked up the sweater and trudged down the stairs. I heard noises coming from the kitchen so I headed in there.
"Hi Grandma." I greeted.
"Hey sweetie, whatcha doing?"
"Well I was wondering if I could go to the park?" I asked.
She took a minute to respond. "Well I wouldn't have a problem with that as long as you're back for supper and it's ok with your mom. Have you asked her?"
"Uh no. Do I have too?"
"Well I guess not. I'll make sure she knows though. And make sure to take a watch with you. Remember to look both ways before crossing the road and be careful! I love ya and I 'll see ya in a bit." She reminded me while leading me to the door.
"Thanks Grandma! love ya too!" I chirped before quickly scurrying out the door.
I made my way down the driveway and street before getting into a comfortable pace towards the park. I made sure I had my slip of paper that had Jazz's adress on it. Once I made it to the park I took a seat at the 'all famous bench' and took a break. After a few minutes I got back up and continued on.
After double checking the paper one last time I rang the doorbell. A few seconds later I heard footsteps and a the door swung open.
A auburn haired, around 40, woman stood there grinning. I was pretty sure this was Jasmine's mom.
"Hi love, how may I help you?"
"Well, um uh." I wasn't good around people I just met. "Is Jasmine in?"
"She sure is love, do you want to come in while I go get her?" Her british accent rang through the air.
I nodded while stepping in regconizing the scent from last time.
"Jasmine! You have a visitor!"
A few seconds later Jasmine's face appeared around the corner. She instantly eruppted into a huge grin like her mother's.
"Emily!!!" She sprinted towards me and wrapped me in a huge hug. "Oh my gosh we have so much to talk about. Do you mind mom if we go to my room?"
"No problem girls, I'll be down here if you need anything."
I followed Jasmine up the stairs getting deja vu.
As we entered her room she pulled out two beanbag chairs out of her closet and we sat down facing each other.
"So how did it go? Okay you have to tell me everything." She asked eagerly.
"Okay...so...right after you left I ran past him, but then I made the mistake of turning around to check back on him and he saw my face. So of course he caught me, but then I escaped by biting his hand. And then he caught me again and this time he held a really tight grip on me I couldn't get out of and he was sort of mad. So I instead kicked and screamed and hit him until I went limp in his arms and he carried me home because I had drained all my energy out on him. Afterward once we got into the house, he was in the middle of calling Victoria when I trried to escape out of the house again and then finally Victoria came home and we had this whole 'Hallmark Moment' while I hadn't really forgive her but just said it anyways and now I am here while my grandma thinks I'm at the park."
