*I'll be annoucing the winner for the mini contest next chapter.
Emily's POV:
After we got home, Victoria made me in charge of the job of calling Jazz and her family and telling them the news. I was excited because I knew they were going to be so happy to find out.
I dialed in the number on the phone she handed me and waited for someone to pick up.
"Hello?" A female British accent rang through the speaker. I knew right away this was Mrs. Payne.
"Hi Mrs. Payne, this is Emily." I said politely.
"Oh hello there Emily, hold on a second, I'll get Jasmine for you."
"Oh!...well okay." She was gone and I heard rustling around at the other end before I could tell her that I didn't need to talk to Jasmine specifically.
A few seconds later though I heard a voice that made me grin.
"Emily? Is that you? We haven't talked in so long it seems like." She squealed.
"It wasn't that long... I don't think." I chuckled.
"Soooo how's it going?" She asked. Oh yeah, the news.
"Um it's actually going great! I have some news for you."
"Uh-oh, I hope it's good news."
"Yeah it is! Really good!" I confirmed before I went on. "When I went to the mall today guess who we ran into!"
"Who?!"
"One Direction!!"
"You're kidding me right?!"
"No, not at all." I laughed.
"OMG fill me in." And so that's exactly what I did.
~ 15 minutes later ~
I pressed the End button on the phone and carefully stood up. One by one I moved to the rec room where I knew everyone was, including One Direction.
As I was almost there I started to wobble and was about to fall when I felt a strong pair of arms grasp me under my armpits. I gasped not expecting anyone there. I looked at the arms who were holding me up and realized it was neither Max or Victoria because this person had tattoos.
"Woah, be careful there love." A husky deep voice told me.
I turned around to reveal a member of the band. Harry I believe.
"Thanks." I said shyly blushing.
"No problem, do you need help there?" He was still holding onto me.
"I'll be okay." I assured him. He nodded and I started to walk off. I didn't get that far until I fell flat on my butt. Well that was embarrassing.
I heard a deep chuckle then his arms wrapped around me again. He pulled me back to my feet but this time keeping his hands securely on me. Then we slowly began to walk. As we got to the rec room he made sure I was leaning against something before he gently let go. Victoria was trying to make light conversation with the boys and Max was seated beside her.
I noticed Max was watching. His face almost showed...envy? He got up though then and swung me lightly onto his hip.
"You ok there munchkin?" He asked supporting his hand behind my head and kissing the crown of my head.
I nodded and then suddenly noticed everyone watching. Well that was even more embarrassing. Okay.
"What did Jasmine say Em?" Victoria asked. I could tell she was trying to tear the incompetence that seemed to be hanging in the air.
I felt a smile being brought back onto my lips as I recounted my talk with Jasmine. After I told her about meeting the boys, she squealed, gabbed and asked a few questions before she finally calmed down. Then I waited as she told her parents the 'big news' and she put me on speaker phone. I had to repeat all what I had just told Jazz because her parents weren't 100% sure she was being serious, but once they did believe they told me to tell Liam and the boys to go and see them. So they told me their address, that the boys could arrive at anytime and us ''Justice's" and Max of course could come too. So I thanked them, told them we'd be coming soon and hung up the phone.
"Well done sweetie." Victoria praised me. "Thanks for the whole report."
It was now Liam's turn to speak up. "Well I guess we could be on our way then. Are you guys coming?" He asked indicating towards Max, Victoria and I.
"Well why not, it will be good for us to visit with them again and for Emily to see Jasmine. Also this way we can lead you to the house." Victoria accepted warmly.
"Well excellent." Liam beamed. I could tell he was excited to reunite with some of his family again. I would be homesick if I didn't see Victoria, Jessi and even Max on a daily basis. "Let's go."
~
We ended up staying for supper. Everything was going so well.
Mr and Mrs Payne were thrilled to see all the boys and tried to make them feel like their were home. Niall was taking advantage of this by gratefully taking large portions of all the food. Zayn was off in the bathroom and got the permisson to use the shower since they didn't have a proper one on the bus. Liam loved it also, him and Mr. Payne were currently in a rec room talking about who knows what. But I knew they were enjoying themselves because every couple minutes I could hear laughter flowing from their direction. Meanwhile Jazz and I sat at the kitchen table listening to Victoria's and Max's, Mrs. Payne's, Harry's and Louis's small chat.
''And then all the sudden we heard the screams loud and clear, there were so deafening that Niall and I decided to hide in the closest room we could find to get away from it all." Louis was telling us a story about one of the several fan attacks they got. They hid in a dressing room that belonged to some group of young ladies and for the fun of it all, while they were hiding, tried on different outfits from the large wardrobe they discovered. And then Paul found them and wasn't very pleased and made them apologize to the ladies who came back to their find them.
We were all laughing by the end of the story and Mrs. Payne had tears rolling down her face.
Just then Liam and Mr Payne walked back into the kitchen. They both seated themselves at the table with us and joined the conversation.
After a while later the the topic changed and made me listen more intently. By now Zayn had got out of the shower and had joined us too. The whole crew was here.
