CHAPTER ELEVEN
~Lily's POV~
I felt nauseous. This boy was holding a knife to my throat. I had never been this close to dying before.
"Jacob," I croaked.
"Help,"
Beads of sweat rolled down Jacobs forehead. He was pale.
"It's okay lily," Jacob said, his voice cracking. "I won't let him hurt you,"
The boy smiled. "Hand over the amulet Jacob,"
"It doesn't belong to you Griffin," Jacob growled, his eyes darkening with hatred.
"Yes," Griffin said. "But I want it, now hand it over or the girl dies,"
Griffin pressed the knife harder to my neck, and I felt pain.
Jacob swallowed. Slowly, he reached around the back of his neck and unfastened the clasp.
He handed it to Griffin with a shaking hand.
Griffin took it and then shook his head. "
I expected more of you Black," he smiled. "Fire never keeps its promises,"
And with that he swept his hand in front of my face and I felt a burning sensation, then everything went black
