CHAPTER THREE
Jacobs POV
Lily raised her eyebrow. "What was that supposed to do?" She said, puzzled.
My eyes widened. "Why didn't it work," I gasped "that was supposed to erase your short term memory. The only reason it wouldn't work is...but that's impossible. If your father is one of us..."
"What are you talking about?" Lily asked.
"if you heard everything it would make sense, but I don't know if you're trustworthy to tell,"
The bell rang.
"Oh no!!" Lily said "I missed science!"
She took one more look at me and ran away.
She started to run away but I grabbed her arm.
"Ugh, what now?" She asked with an annoyed tone in her voice.
I stared at her for a long moment.
Then I grabbed both of her arms and pulled her closer. Then I kissed her.
After about five seconds, Lily broke the kiss.
"What was that for?" She asked.
"I-I had to. Just once." I said, looking down at my black converse.
Lily looked at me.
Her blue-green eyes stared at me with complete wonder.
Then she turned and ran to class.
