CHAPTER TWELVE
~Jacobs POV~
"Lily!" I screamed. Her head dropped onto Griffins shoulder. Her eyes were closed.
"What have you done to her!?"
He winked and then whistled. A horse stepped out from the bushes. It was as black as coal, in fact It looked as if it was made from coal, it eyes glowing red like embers.
Griffin pocketed the amulet, careful to keep the knife to her throat.
I ran towards him. But he pressed the knife harder to Lily's throat and a bead of blood dripped on to the collar of her green shirt.
"I'm sorry Lily," I whispered.
The horse spread coal black wings and with a whooshing noise it took flight, along with Griffin, my amulet (the leash of all my power) and Lily.
