"Yes Harry!! Yes of course!!!" she screamed of happiness. I hugged her and squished her extremely hard. I couldn't believe this was happening!! I wanted to so badly just dance of happiness! Of excitement, of.. I just couldn't explain that feeling I had. It was as if all the positive emotions were forged into one, and it felt like it would be there for a very long time. She kissed me on the cheek and began to blush. I tried hard not to blush, but I'm pretty sure I joined her. We both looked like tomatoes gone wrong. To make sure things didn't get awkward, I reached for the vase. "This is for you." I said with a brave voice. She smiled and slowly grabbed the vase. She held it as if it were some kind of valuable possession she didn't want to break, or drop at all in general. She treated the vase like it was a rare diamond. "I-I don't know what to say.. Thank you Harry!!!" she screamed in happiness. She eventually started to cry tears, but tears of happiness. I had remembered that her family was poor, and things like these were hard for her to ever possess.. I wiped her tears with my hands and held her face softly. "I want you to keep it." I said to her. She kissed my cheek again, and set down the vase to give me another hug. It felt as if the love between us had just formed a powerful bond that nothing could break. As I looked at the vase, I began to see the sunflower shine as well. It was beautiful.
Eventually she had to leave, so I gave her a kiss and said goodbye. After she left, I stared through the front window to watch her walk away. It was just such an amazing experience, I can't even explain it with words! After a few seconds, I lost sight of her. At that moment, I had remembered that I had to ask her questions about "Shattered Eyes"! How could I possibly forget something like that!? It's something you just don't forget, but hey, I would've rather have that experience than just ask her questions. My mother was behind me as I looked out through the window. "You did it, didn't you." my mother asked. "Yea mom.. I did it.. Why?" I said, while shivering. I didn't know how my mother would react to this one. She suddenly threw her hands in the air and cheered. I smiled without even noticing it, and I hugged my mother. "I knew you could do it!! You two obviously belong together!!" my mother explained. I didn't know what to say, I just couldn't speak. The feelings were just there. I was so glad I had finally made my move. And this wouldn't be my last move I made.
That night, I was texting Linda until 12:00 AM. I didn't care if I had school tomorrow, I loved speaking to the love of my life. We would text back and forth, having one of the wildest conversations we've ever had. It was a conversation mixed with love, happiness, and humor. It was as if she knew exactly what made me happy and she wouldn't even have to try. I looked over to my desk and saw the flower vase was gone. I smiled, and glanced over to the clock. It was 12:50 AM. I texted Linda good night and I decided that it was time for me to start a new day. This new day would obviously be a new experience now that I had a new bond, and I was ready for it.
It was Monday, and I was in the cafeteria eating breakfast with the love of my life. It felt so peaceful and right to be next to her, and I felt as if my heart was even connected to hers. "Have any plans for this weekend? My mom thought it would be nice if we visited a public park together!" Linda explained. "Even if I did have plans, your my top priority." I replied. She began to blush, and I continued to eat my breakfast I had literally brought from home just to eat with Linda. Eventually, the bell rang. For the entire first period, we smiled at each other for technically the entire class period. After first period, there was second period, then third, then fourth, then lunch, then fifth, and somehow, it was already sixth period. For the whole day it was an amazing experience knowing that she was mines, and that we had our own bond together that no one else had with her. In sixth period, I began to doodle her name. "Didn't you doodle a sunflower last Friday?" my neighbor asked me. "Yup, and you complimented it. I still thank you for that!" I replied. "Oh, no problem!" she added. "By the way, what's your name?" I asked her. "My name is Carol. Your name is Harry, right?" Carol asked. "Yea, how did you know?" I asked. "Well, when we're doing work, I see your name on your work." she added. "Oh, that's great!" I replied. She opened her backpack and began to look for a pencil. Suddenly, I spotted a blue sweater in her backpack. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I was looking correctly. I WAS. I was looking at the EXACT blue sweater the guy had! She looked up and caught me looking at it. "Like my sweater?" she asked. ".. Uhh yea, its great!" I replied. She closed her backpack as fast as she could after I said that. Something was definitely wrong here..
