[I could've gone so many ways with this but I chose this in the end, I hope it's not too terrible.]

The next mission is less go in, eliminate the target, and get out. More of an undercover endeavor. And if you're not careful, you could give away your intentions and get gunned down on the spot.

You're entering a Spanish styled mansion, passing the guards and giving them a chilling smile as you pick up a flute of champagne and sip on it as you casually glance around the crowded room.

And then you spot your target surrounded by a crowd of women, all beautiful and giggling. You throw back the rest of the champagne and make your way towards the man, but a hand catches your forearm and you hiss at the contact.

"You're freezing."

You turn and meet Natasha's eyes, almost immediately you start sneering. "Let go of me."

She does and heads towards the outside, looking back and continues. You sigh, bringing along the the flute just in case things don't go your way as you follow after her.

"What happened to you?" Is the first thing she asks when you step outside. You glide past her, scanning the grounds as you lean against the railing. "I asked you a question."

"Doesn't mean I have to answer," You reply dully, turning to face her. "You look a lot older than I remember."

"You don't," Her eyes narrow as they scan your features sharply. "The scar along you cheek. It's gone."

You snort. "Haven't you ever heard of plastic surgery?"

"I've noticed that your eyes are a different color," She says. "Darker. Like you've been to hell and back."

You twirl the champagne in you hand absently as your lip curls. "Funny you should say that," looking up, you spot your target being escorted upstairs by two burly men. "Because I've been and I don't recommend it."

"What are you-"

"Excuse me," You push off the railing and bush past her. "I've got a job to do."

She stops you again and you refrain from snapping at her. "We can help you, (Y/n)." Her eyes are pleading as they meet yours.

You soften your expression and Natasha smiles lightly, but then you're laughing and patting her arm and she sighs. "You almost fooled me there, Natasha."

"Do it."

You turn in confusion, but then you know what's going to happen and duck. A dart pierces the wall behind you and you growl.

"You b-" You hold up your arm and another dart ricochets off of your wrist band. Not waiting another second for the sniper to actually get you this time, you shove Natasha to the ground and make a run for it inside.

Guests glare and gasp as you shove past them, making a beeline for the back exit you remember from studying the blueprints of the mansion. You'll come back a different day to murder your target. That is, if HYDRA doesn't kill you for not getting the mission done.

At the last second, you make a turn and head for the stairs. The snipper wouldn't dare tranq you in front of all these people, which gives you the advantage as you leisurely take your time climbing up the stairs.

You then see the two guards who had escorted your target upstairs, and approach them slowly. They barely react before you're lifting up your leg and grabbing the hidden blade in the heel, using it to slice their throats with a practiced twirl. You kick open the doors and find the man on the bed with a women on top of him, but he pushes her off and she screams as she sees you stalking into the room, white dress splattered with blood and a crazed look in your eyes.

"Get out." You snarl, and she scrambles off the bed with her dress nearly falling off as she runs out of the room screaming.

"P-Please," the man sputters, face twisting as he holds up his hands. "I-I'll give you whatever you want, just please don't-"

"Kill you?" you finish, holding up your hand and smirk. "Sorry not sorry, pal. It's nothing personal, it's-"

"Just business?" comes a reply from behind, and you give yourself a second to sigh before dropping to your knees and watch as a dart fly over your head.

"Jesus, do you guys ever run out of those things?" Whirling around, you deflect a dart with the knife and hop to your feet swiftly. "Captain Rogers. Don't you look-"

"Cute?" He holds up the dart gun and doesn't blink. "Thanks for the complement by the way."

"Can someone please tell me what's going on-" your target cries, reminding you that he's still there. You don't look away from Captain Rogers' eyes as you extend your arm to the side and flick your wrist, letting go of the blade and smirk when you hear it embed itself into the mans neck.

"Now if you don't mind," You unclip you earring and press it, throwing it down on the ground and an explosion of black air fils the room. "It's time for me to leave."

You turn and rush for the widow, crashing into it and reassembling your clutch into a makeshift grappling hook, shooting it onto the roof and landing softly on the ground below in all under one minute.

It's a smooth trip from there on as you walk to the black porche waiting for you, slipping inside and nodding to the HYDRA driver in a silent way of telling him the mission had been completed.

You look in the review mirror as he pulls out of the lot, and you can still see Captain Rogers standing at the window you had broken through.

Still cute.
