You let out a harsh breath as you exit the bathroom after having cleaned the toilets until they sparkled.
Being the directors appreciate on the Avengers movie set isn't what you'd thought it would be. You signed up for the job thinking that he would be giving you pointers and tips, but all he seems to do is command you around to clean and get him food and coffee.
"Anna!" The director shouts, making you jump and whirl around. His eyes narrow. "Did you clean the toilets?"
You nod. "Is there anything else I can do for you, sir?"
He raises an eyebrow. "Is it not obvious? Do you see my hand, the one lacking a cup of black coffee?"
"Right," You huff, giving the man a wide smile before storming off to get him a cup of coffee.
Until your slam into someone.
"Excuse me," You mutter, not bothering to check who it was because your boss will yell at you for even making eye contact with any of the stars here.
Once you have the cup of coffee in hand, you wander around set until you see him standing and talking animatedly to Tom Hiddleston.
Hesitantly, you tap his shoulder and he whirls around with his arms raised. "What! Oh, it's just you."
Your eyes narrow. "Here's your coffee,"
He instantly grabs the cup from your hands and takes a sip.
Hope you don't choke on it.
"What the hell is this?" He shrieks, jerking the beverage from his lips and giving you a hard glare.
"I-It's coffee, sir-"
He raises a threatening finger. "Do you even bother to check how hot it is, Anna? I could've burned my tongue off!"
"I don't think that's possible, sir."
"You're damn right it is possible! Go make me another cup or you're fired!"
Biting back the tears, you take a step back before scuttling away.
You've been huddled in a corner for maybe five minuets when you hear footsteps approaching.
"Are you alright, miss?"
Swiping at the tears, you turn and force a smile. "Perfect,"
Now do you realize it's Tom Hiddleston, the man who saw you get yelled at for making the coffee too hot.
"I believe I owe you an apology," He says, giving you a gentle smile as he walks closer.
"What? But you didn't do anything wrong,"
He clicks his tongue. "Now that's where you're wrong. I bumped into you earlier, and you ran off before I could say a word, much less give an apologetic smile."
You laugh. "Sorry, but fraternizing with celebs are against the rules for an apprentice like myself."
He shrugs a shoulder and leans in closer like he's going to tell a secret. "Not if its the celeb fraternizing with the apprentice,"
Over the months of the movie, you and Tom had become quiet close. On more than one occasion, he would stick up for you when the director shouted at you or embarrassed you in front of the cast. And so, on the last few days of filming, Tom worked up the courage to ask you out on a date.
