Bruce BannER- Here For You

Bruce rubs at his eyes tiredly, his shoulders sagging as he leans back in the chair and sighs deeply.

Even since he's gotten back, he's been just out of it and distant. He's too quiet and sometimes, he won't leave his room or speak to anyone. Even you.

Tears spring to his eyes as he clenches his fists, too many bad thoughts and memories swimming around in his head. Even for a genius scientist like Bruce BannER, there's a certain point at which he'll snap.

The sound of your heels getting closer makes Bruce quietly swipe at his eyes, sniffing as he gathers his papers and sets them in order.

"Bruce?" You say softly, pausing outside his office with a warm smile. "Everything okay?"

"I'm fine," He replies automatically, not having the energy to even crack a smile as he picks up his pen and continues with the paperwork. "Just tired."

It's when you gently place your hand on his shoulder and run a hand though his hair, he takes off his glasses and turns around to burry his face in your lab coat and can't hold back the tears.

"It's okay," You murmur. "I'm here for you."
