(Requested by @Charlotte3481)
"Charlotte?"
You jump when Grant doesn't bother to knock as he opens your door, making you squeak and cover your bare face.
"G-Grant! What are you doing?"
He steps back in shock, expecting to see you naked or something, but you're fully clothed.
"What, what's wrong?"
You shield your face with one hand, using the other to shoo him out. "U-Um, could you wait outside? I'm almost ready."
He raises an eyebrow. "You look ready to me."
"Well, I'm not, so.."
He walks over to you and gently takes your wrists in his hands, though you keep your palms firmly pressed over your features.
"Char, did something happen? Are you okay? Why are you hiding?" He asks, a concerted expression pulling his mouth into a frown.
"I-I'm fine, Grant. I just haven't applied any make-up, and I don't really want you to see me without it, now would you be so kind and-"
He laughs, and you freeze.
"Why are you laughing!" You growl, tugging your wrists out of his grip to turn your back to him.
"No, I'm not laughing at you. Well, I guess I am but-"
"Grant."
"You're doing all of this so I don't see you without a bunch of crap smeared on your face?"
You tense when he places his hands on your shoulder.
"Well, this crap covers up my blotchy skin and imperfections."
You're suddenly whirled around. Grants confused eyes meet yours. "Your blotchy skin? Imperfections? Charlotte, what the hell are you talking about?"
Panic shoots through you as he scans your make-up less face, thinking he'd cringe at your freckled cheeks(if you don't have freckle, sorry) and run out of the room, but he just grins.
"There's absolutely nothing wrong with you, Charlotte. You're perfect."
