Promise

Someone close to me always makes promises and never keeps them. That's probably why I never make them unless I know I can keep them.

I know how it feels when people don't keep them.

It feels terrible especially if its something big. They give you a sense of hope that they'll keep the promises and things would change.

If the promise gets broken, it feels like they never meant it in the first place. They might of only said it to make us feel better, but all they gave us was dissatisfaction and maybe even sadness. 

I know how it feels to be on the other end of a broken promise. It sucks and because I know how it feels, I never want the ones I love to feel that way because of me. 

Never make promises you can't keep. You can really change a persons point of view of you if you can't keep them.

I just wanted to say my heart is with all of you for those who are in Paris. I was going to write a poem on Paris but I couldn't find the words. I literally sat here on my computer trying to think of something to write. But I finally came to the conclusion that there are no words. 

I know this doesn't do much. Sitting behind my computer doesn't do anything. But believe me if I could do anything, I definitely would do something!
