The city of love. Full of cobblestone streets, old buildings and amazing architecture.
We got to do a guided bus tour and we saw Da Louvre. The biggest historical museum on the planet. We didn't get to go inside but the outside looked amazing enough. The building was long and had many corridors branching off, full of designs on the outside that meant something to the city. We got to see Louvre pyramid, made of tiny triangles to keep the structure strong and proud.
We got to see the many buildings Napoleon built. Including the bridges he made and his signatory N on all his projects. We saw Notre Damn itself, standing proud over the streets of Paris.
We got to see the unofficial official memorial for Lady Diana. It's marked by a gold flame, called The Flame Of Liberty, given to the French by the US in thanks for helping restoration of the Statue Of Liberty In New York. At the base of the flame is pictures of the princess along with tributes to her like flowers and locks on the fence around the flame.
The Eiffel Tower was an experience itself. Standing against the blue sky so we could see the metal and the triangles easily. We got to have some free time around the tower, which I enjoyed the most.
There's a little souvenir place a little way in front of the tower as long with an ice cream place. I got a sweater plus ice cream and we got to sit at a park by the tower. It had to be one of my favourite moments of the trip. Sitting in the park with my best friends eating ice cream and looking at the Eiffel Tower.
There's a river in front of the tower called River Seine. We went on the boat tour and we got to see all the places we saw during the day at night. The speakers on the boat played classical French music and the night was cool, feeling like something truly out of a dream. We got to see the tower at night when we returned for the sun had set when we were on the boat.
It shone bright against the night sky like a beacon and at 10:00 exactly the tower sparkled like it was littered with thousands of diamonds. It only lasted a couple of minutes but it was enough to take my breathe away.
