If I Shall Have A Daughter, I'm going to tell her all the things my mother never told me.
I'm going to tell her shes beautiful every single day, so when a boy calls her that she'll smile and won't react in a naive way. I'm going to tell her never to be afraid to raise her hand in class because the worse thing that can happen is mispronouncing a word.
I'm going to tell her to chase after her dreams, and never stop striving for more. I'm going to tell her shes a Queen all on her own and she doesn't need a boy or a man to call her that because she all ready knows it herself.
I'm going to tell her to keep her head held high because shes in her own world and its better than the one we live in. I'm going to tell her that hiding her problems or emotions from escaping her won't help herself in the long run. I'm going to tell her she can come to me with anything.
Other than that I'm going to teach her how to cook , clean, pay bills, and all the other important things.
I'm also going to get her obsessed with music when I was her age and we can talk about how much we love it. I'm going to tell her stories of me growing up and all the fun times I had with a few lessons that I've all ready learned.
These are all the things I'm going to teach her, If I Shall Have A Daughter.
