The next day, Tobin could hardly sit still, but she could hardly move around, her ankle was still sore.

Alex kept stealing glances at Tobin.

"Alex, you okay?" Morgan Brian asked, when she hit Alex on accident in the stomach with the ball when she was staring at Tobin.

"Yeah" She wheezed. Tobin winced at the sight, because it always knocked the wind out of her to be hit in the stomach.

"Okay ladies. Water break" Jill announced, and Alex made her way to the bench, arms behind her head, trying to catch air.

"You okay Lex?" Tobin asked, handing her a water bottle.

"Yeah, just got the wind knocked out of me" Alex said after regaining her breath.

"I saw that" Tobin grinned.

Alex smiled.

"You seem distracted. Is everything alright?" Tobin asked, puckering her eyebrows.

"You're not on the field. Thats whats distracting. You're usually there, but now you're not. I know you're on the sideline, but you're usually paired up with me for everything, and its just so weird without you making interesting plays, taking crazy shots. Not the same anymore" Alex sighed.

Tobin laughed. "Baby Horse, its not like I'm gone forever" She winked at Alex. "I'll be back to my normal self soon, as soon as I get this damn thing off" Tobin displayed the brace.

"When will that be miss Heath?" Alex asked.

"Hopefully soon" Tobin said, then Alex ran off to join the rest of the team in the next drill. Tobin sighed. It wouldn't be for a while until she got her brace off.
