"I'm so glad to be back" Tobin smiles, taking a big breath of air in the apartment.
"Same here. I'm kind of glad the tour is over. I'd like to get back with you" Alex said, wrapping her hands around Tobin's neck.
"I'm going to enjoy this week off" Tobin licked her lips.
"What do you have in mind?" Alex asked, smirking.
"Oh, maybe a little bit of you and I in a room, all night long" Tobin said, and Alex bit her lip.
"So what do we do in the meantime?" Alex asked, bringing Tobin's head closer to her own.
"I have a few ideas" Tobin smirked.
Later...
Tobin and Alex sat next to each other on the couch, watching Netflix.
"You know, I didn't think that we would ever amount to anything" Tobin said.
"Why is that?" Alex laughed.
"You and Servando were getting married, at least, thats what I thought. So I kind of gave up the search for you. I met a few guys, and totally forgot about you, until getting back from Paris. Then, you couldn't leave my mind. I couldn't think about anyone or anything else" Tobin grabbed her hand. "When you kissed me after that game, I broke up with my boyfriend, and went back to trying to get you. It was love at first sight all over again"
"Thats adorable" Alex pecked her cheek.
"It's true" Tobin kissed her.
"When I first saw you, I knew that you weren't just a soccer player, or some girl. It was more. I knew you didn't look at me as just a teammate or a friend, and I didn't look at you any differently as you looked at me. Watching you play, it made me think about if we were together. I don't know, call me crazy, but each time we get on the field, I'm reminded of your beauty on the outside and in" Alex said.
"Wow" Tobin laughed. "My girlfriend is a poet"
"You're my inspiration" Alex smiled.
They cuddled and watched the rest of the movie together.
Nothing could be better than what they already had, or so they thought....
