"Alex" Whispered Tobin in her sleep. She wasn't sleepwalking like Alex, but she sure was having a nightmare like her.
Alex's eyes darted open, and she looked over to Tobin, who was tossing and turning, whispering her name. In Tobin's dream Alex was being chased by angry fans and reporters.
"Tobin?" Alex asked, wondering if Tobin was awake.
"Alex" Tobin whispered again, then Tobin froze, then shot upright in bed, and yelled. "Alex!"
Tobin looked around, panting, then rubbed her eyes, blinking many times, trying to bring herself to reality. Alex sat up in bed and wrapped her arms around Tobin.
"Babe, you were saying my name" Alex said.
"Sorry" Tobin mumbled, and laid down, still breathing heavily, Alex and Tobin's arms wrapped around each other.
"Was it a nightmare?" Asked Alex.
"Yeah" Tobin mumbled.
"Thats not good" Alex sighed.
"Nope" Tobin frowned.
"Was it about me?" Alex asked.
"Why else would I be saying your name?" Tobin chuckled.
"Oh I don't know" Alex grinned. "But seriously" Alex's grin disappeared. "How long have you been having nightmares?"
"A week now" Tobin mumbled, just loud enough for her to hear.
"Toby" Alex frowned.
"Okay, more like a week and a half" Tobin groaned, and rolled closer to Alex. "They've been terrible. Horrible. I'm terrified of them, I don't want to sleep at night because of them"
"Tobin....why didn't you tell me before?"
"Its not something I can just tell you. Im not going to say 'hey Alex, guess what? Ive been having terrible nightmares about you and I'm afraid to sleep at night' I can't say that" Tobin scoffed.
"Not that way, but you could've told me" Alex rubbed Tobin's cheek with her thumb.
Tobin just shrugged.
When Alex woke up later in the morning, she decided to make a nice breakfast. Tobin woke up a little later and they ate together.
"So, Alex. I was thinking, that maybe we should come out to the public and our parents, I mean, we've been together for a year now, and I think it's only fair to our parents and to everyone else" Tobin said, and Alex nodded.
"I can call my mom right now" Alex suggested.
"Only if you're ready" Tobin said. "I don't want to make you do something you don't want to do"
"I want to do this. I think its right" Alex grabbed her hand.
"Okay then. Ill call my parents too, but I don't know what kind of reaction they will have. It is against my religion after all" Tobin sighed. Alex squeezed her hand.
"I'm sure they will understand" Alex said, and Tobin looked over to her phone on the table, then slowly picked it up. Tobin slowly found her father's contact, then pressed it, calling him. She timidly rose the phone to her ear. Everything was silent.
"Hi Tobin" Her father's voice on the other end said.
"Hi Dad. I have to uh, tell you something" Tobin said, her voice almost shaking.
"Sure, what is it?"
"You promise you won't hate me if I tell you"
"Tobin, whats this about?"
