Alex's POV
The funeral was fast, and seemed harmless. Few tears were shed, more out of pity than out of loss.
I felt a hand entwine with her own. She looked over and saw Tobin give me a grim look.
I gave her a half smile.
Why did this happen now? And why Servando? He wasn't this bad when I was dating him.
"Tobs, I am going to go to buy a few things. I'll meet you at home" I said, giving Tobin's hand a slight squeeze.
"Okay babe, don't be too long" Tobin smiled at me, and I smiled back, beginning to walk to the store, not sure what I should buy. I just needed air.
Inside the store, I just walked the aisles, thinking about the murder.
I shook my head, and tried to think of something else.
Suddenly, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn, and come face to face with the killer.
"H-Hi Servando" I say, sweat already beginning to appear on my forehead.
"Hey Alex. Fancy seeing you here" He said, in a way I knew was fake.
"Y-Yeah" I say, and try to continue my buisness.
"Unfortunate to what happened with Coach Ellis" Servando shook his head, as if he didn't know he was the killer. I hate it.
"Very" I say a little too bitterly. "I wonder how the killer feels right now"
"Well, I wouldn't call him a killer. A person who rids the world from evil, yes. But a killer, is hardly the term for a soul like his" Servando sighed.
I stood there with my mouth gaped open.
"Killer is an understatement" I said, surprised he would say such a thing about Jill on the day of her funeral.
"Aw Lex, don't say that. If you knew who the man was, you wouldn't say that" Servando said, a little angry.
Oh hell no. I can't believe it. He called me Lex. He absolutely cannot call me Lex.
"I think I know him" I said, frowning at Servando. Servando shifted.
"Who is he?" Servando asked, waiting for an answer.
I was going to tell him I knew he did it.
"He's standing in front of me" I said, in a low voice.
Servando opened his mouth to object, but took whatever he was going to say back. Instead, his hands, quick as lightning, were put over my mouth, and he dragged me out of the store.
"My little secret is going to die with you" Servando growled in my ear. I tried to scream, and I tried to get away, but he was just too strong.
How did Tobin beat him up earlier?
"Stop resisting. It will do you no good" Servando said, and I planted one foot and dug the other into his toes. He yelped, but recovered quickly, before I could do anything.
Ugh will this nightmare ever end?
"Bad girls need to be punished" His breath tickled my ear. I hate that feeling if Tobin isn't the one giving it to me.
He limped along the alley, and shoved me into his car.
"You're going to pay for this Servando. Tobin will find me" I spit, and Servando put a black cloth over my head.
"If you take that off you're going to get double the punishments" Servando smirked.
I decided to not do anything.
The car made four right turns, then stopped.
"We're here" Servando said in a cheery voice.
I groaned. He's acting like he never kidnapped me.
"Come on out Lex" Servando placed his hand back over my mouth, which I bit, and he grimaced. "Try anything stupid again like that, and you'll be beat" Servando said, and I didn't want to get beat.
He grabbed me and put me inside of the house, and opened a door, with some steps leading downstairs. He threw me down.
"Hon, theres a light switch on the side, and theres food and water. I'll be down in about ten minutes with a few friends. Stay comfy!" He smiled a plastic grin and slammed the door, leaving me in the dark.
I turned the light switch on and looked around. The basement was finished, had a bed, a couch, a small refrigerator, and I saw blankets and a heater. No windows, of course. This is after all the basement.
I sat on the couch and pondered my escape.
Im stuck.
Forever.
Will Tobin know I'm gone?
How will they find me?
What did Servando say by bringing friends down?
I groaned and leaned back.
Then, I heard the door open.
"Lexy, I'm back!" Servando said.
My eyes darted to the steps.
Three guys including Servando.
"Now, about your punishment" He grinned, and I knew I was in for it.
Whatever it was, it wasn't good.
Tobin, please help.
