Waking up early, Tobin went next door to Hope's room, making sure not to wake Alex.

"Tobin?" Kelley frowned.

"Yeah its me. I need to talk with Hope" She says quick.

"Uh, okay" Kelley walks away, then Hope appears in her spot.

"Tobin, what's up?" Hope smiles.

"I need to talk to you about our little...visitors, yesterday" Tobin said.

Hope's face went hard.

"Sure" She managed, and motioned for Tobin to come inside. "Kells, can you go into Alex's room for a little while? Tobin and I have to talk about yesterday"

Kelley nodded, and went out without another word.

"What the hell happened yesterday" Hope asked when the door was closed. No, it wasn't a question, it was a demand.

"Do you think I have a clue? Dammit, they just showed up at my door without a warning" Tobin ran a hand through her hair. "Thats why I had to defend ourselves right in the doorway. I had no choice"

"Who was the black guy and the other guy next to Servando?" Hope asked.

"The black guy is Machine, and I don't know who the other guy was. Accent means he's from around here, and his way of speech, it was..ancient" Tobin said.

"So what you're telling me is that he's from ancient New York and he's a blast from the past" Hope raised her eyebrow.

"Hope, you know what I mean. New Yorkers have that way of speaking, like they're from a good forty or fifty years ago" Tobin said, rolling her eyes.

"That doesn't sound good. I've seen movies where the bad guy has that kind of accent" Hope said.

"We have to take this one question at a time" Tobin said. "I'm starting with this one; how the heck did they get inside?" Tobin let it sink in, then added. "Does that sound good?"

"I think so. They couldn't have broken in without setting an alarm. Someone had to have let them in" Hope said, and Tobin nodded.

"Who hates me and Alex enough to let those murderous men in?" Tobin asked.

"I have no idea, but the best way to do it is to start questioning people. They always crack when you question them" Hope said.

"They wouldn't crack if I tried to get it from them. Maybe if you or Kling...." Tobin said, trying to give Hope a hint, but she wasn't catching on. Tobin sighed in frustration. "I'm asking if you or Kling can go question people. They will break under brute force, not some nice talk. Its like good cop and bad cop"

"So I'm the bad cop?" Hope asked.

"Yes. I mean, if you would be ever so kind as to do this noble deed for me" Tobin put on an English accent. Hope grinned.

"I'll do it" Hope said.

"Any questions?"

"Is brute force necessary?"

"Definitely"

"Good"
