Tobin's POV

"Hey have any of you seen Alex yet? She said she was going to the store, and she still isn't back yet" I asked Amy.

"Sorry Toby, but I haven't seen her" Amy shrugged. Lauren said the same thing.

Where could she be?

"I'll try call her phone" I said, doubting that she would even pick up, knowing that Alex doesn't ever turn her phone off of silent.

"Good idea" Lauren said, sitting me down on the bed.

After a few rings, no one picked up.

"Come on Lex, pick up" I whined to myself, dialing her number again.

No one answered.

"Tobin, she's probably fine. Just getting caught up with something" Amy said, placing a hand on my leg.

"Yeah Tobs, no reason to worry. Alex is a big girl and take care of herself" Lauren said.

I agree with them for a moment, but my mind drifts back to the incident with Machine. She couldn't take care of herself then, but Machine is a big man.

I can't stop imagining a funeral for Alex, and I groan and drop my head in my hands.

"Tobs, its going to turn out fine" Amy said, but I knew she was just trying to comfort me. She didn't even think it.

"Lets tell our new coach, coach Max" Amy suggested, and I nodded, sending a text to our new coach, coach Max Rogan.

He replied quick, and said he'd send word around. That helped a little, but not much.

"Can we go look around the city?" I asked.

"Its dark already. And I'm sorry Tobin, but I don't feel safe with Jack the Ripper walking around the city after the incident with the late Coach Ellis" Amy hung her head.

"Yeah, sorry Tobs, but I don't want you going out there either. We can't loose you too" Lauren said, standing me up and walking me back to my room.

"First thing in the morning, I'm going to look for her" I said.

Rage burned through my veins.

Whoever is messing with Alex is going to have a hell of a tough time walking after I get my hands on them.

Alex's POV

"Lex" Servando grinned, and I scowl at him.

His face turns innocent.

"Whats with the angry look?" He asked.

"Fuck you" I mumbled.

"What?" His expression hardened.

"I SAID FUCK YOU!" I scream at him, and he throws his hand across, and it connects with my cheek.

I wince, but don't cry. My anger is the only thing thats holding me from crying.

"That wasn't very nice" He said.

"Well neither is your face and I'm not complaining" I insult him, and his face turns red. His friend laughs.

"Get roasted Serv" His friend laughs.

"Shut up Jake" Servando spits.

Jake shuts up.

"Now, about you, miss Alex. You're in trouble missy" He gives a wicked grin, and it sends chills down my back.
