Iman scoffs, scooping some of her yoghurt and adjusting the oversized floral shirt on her frame, one more time before picking up her bag. He is standing across her, folding his arms and staring at her with furrowed brows, indicating concentration and maybe a slight sense of being upset.
For one, he is really happy Iman is wearing one his shirts, and for the other, he is upset with how their chat is going.
"You need to stop staring at me like that," Iman says, focusing on her yoghurt.
"W-Why please?" he replies, attempting to sound firm.
"You look upset and you are not answering my questions," she replies, looking up.
"H-Harry said no," he insists.
"Why?" she pushes her hair away from her face.
"I...I said no, just no," Harry shrugs, deepening his frown.
"Myra's birthday is important and Linda wants to be there, why are you saying no to this?" she folds her arms, now frowning herself.
Harry parts his lips, sourcing for the words but actually having nothing to say in return to her question, and that bugs him a little. There is a lot on his mind and he didn't mean to actually prevent Linda from coming for the birthday party, but he doesn't know how to explain his recent actions. Deciding to be stubborn might just be a way out, and that will stop Iman from the questions.
"Stop...stop asking H-Harry questions, please," he maintains.
"Listen here sir, I am your partner and you have a daughter, her birthday is soon and her mother, who is alive and well, is not allowed to come. What do you think people will assume of me?" Iman asks, staring at him.
