Chapter 4: Meet Kerri

I was so excited; I seemed to forget about my old college ready to start a new one. I was ready for this, a new start, a new chance to change my life and make this one better than the other's I have had behind me. The past will stay in the past, I'm moving on and this college will prove that for me. I know it will.

Phoenix's parents dropped us all outside the college, wished us all good luck and let us on our way. We headed to the reception to sign in. "Hi, were the new students joining," Elsa asked the lady at the desk. "Ah yes of course what are your names may I ask?" Elsa handed over our names and gave us each a room number and a key to that room.

Room 14, that's where I was, "Hey what room you in?" I asked Phoenix, "Room 17, how about you?" I sighed "Room 14, looks like we ain't together," Elsa and Anna shared a room with each other, they had room 19. They are nowhere near me. Oh well like I said new life, new beginnings.

I bid farewell to them and go to my room. I was scanning down the hallway trying to find a way to the dorm. Urgh I couldn't find it anyway. "Ahh," I crash into somebody and drop all my belongings to the floor. Whoever they were I landed with my back against the floorboards while they landed on top of me.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry," I said once they got off me, I shook my head in shame and continued "That's me being clumsy like always, so sorry," I kept apologising to them. "Hey would you please stop apologising it's kinda freaking me out," I looked up to this guy with emerald forest green eyes and they were just amazing. 'Stop it Ally her for school not boys'

I straightened myself up and just replied "Okay, well maybe you could help me-," suddenly I got cut off but the girl "Hey what you doing now?" she came straight up to us and started eyeing the boy with a glare "Nothing, we just fell into each other that's all Kerri calm down." With that he just walked away.

"Sorry about that, he's an ass. So you new here by any chance," she asked me. I nodded shyly while still collecting all my things off the ground. "Hey let me help you with that," she bent down and carried some of my things for me. "My name's Kerrina," she took out her hand for me to shake, "Alana," I answered while shaking.

"Well let me help take this back to your dorm what room number," she questioned. "Umm number 14," I answered. Her eyes brightened up "That's with me come on I'll show you," well looks like I'm making new friends already.
