Chapter 9: Just Remember.....He's Not My Type

I rushed down the hallway and the banged on the door of his door until someone finally answered it to be faced with an angry person who they don't even know. Oh by the way if you're wondering why I'm so angry you're about to find out? "Hey sexy," this blonde haired boy stood in my way from his dorm, "How do I owe this pleasure," he smirked. I barged past him and into the room to find Hayden slouched against the wall on his phone.

He noticed me and chucked his phone down on the bed "Well what a surprise never thought I'd see you in my room," he too smirked while the other boy closed the door behind him and slouched on his bed intrigued on the conversation. "Cut the crap Hiccup," I said to him. He took a step back and went "Well haven't heard that name in ages, anyway by the looks of it you got my message," he smiled. "Oh hell yeah I got your message and I'm not going to some stupid beach party with you so you can forget it," I spoke confidently.

He groaned then moaned by asking "Oh come why not?" I laughed and replied "Well for one, I hardly know you and two what makes you think this-" I gestured to my body so he could see my appearance with the geeky glasses and long ripped jeans to show I ain't a classy girl, "-goes to parties," he looked me up and down but didn't judge. "I totally disagree with you there," he started.

I cut him by saying "Of course you would, it's you," I held his head to gesture me too stop talking so I shut up, "One, you do know me," did he really just say that? "Okay so your saying me crashing into you in the hallway and you sleeping in my bed without me knowing is me knowing you, umm I don't think so," he was opened his mouth about to say something but then closed to show he was defeated "Oh hold you slept in her bed you gotta tell me all about that mate," the kid on the other bed piped up and said fascinated. "Oh yeah I will don't worry." I was disgusted at this.

"Um no he will not tell you, whatever your name is now shut up and piss off out of our business," he leant back down on the bed but still listening in. "Okay anyway, two I believe you need to live a little, you seem too enclosed in yourself go enjoy life for a bit," I laughed "Well thanks, but no thanks, I've been to a party before and guess what it didn't end well, so my answer is still NO," I argued with him. I went back to the door and opened it to leave but turned back around and said "See you around Hayden," the walked off.

"Goodbye SEXY!" shouted that boy who was also in the room. "PISS OFF WHOEVER YOU ARE!" All the boys down the hallway were staring at me wide-eyed while that boy shouted back "THE NAME'S JAMES!" so I shouted back "WHATEVER!" and with that I was gone out of site from them for as long as I wanted.

I was heading down to my dorm expecting Kerri to ask me what happened so she could laugh her head off, which she probably would. But instead I got blocked by a flock of blonde hair with frizzy red-head next to it. Roxy and Merida just what I need right now. "We heard you just came from Hiccup's dorm, what did we tell you this morning did you not listen to a word we said," Roxy interrogated me. "Hold on a second, that was just you, she stood and there and listen and just gave me here name," I pointed to Merida then continued, "And I was only delivering a message to him so he understood not really to bother me so don't judge before you get your facts right," I barged past her and went back to my dorm so I couldn't hear her reply.

I collapsed onto my bed, to then feel suddenly a bombshell fall right next me. "So how'd it go?" Kerri asked excitedly. "What do you think?" I questioned back. "Oh you didn't say no," I just nodded while she carried on, "Oh come on, he offered you to a party and you just turned down the hottest boy in the college, except for his mate Jay, but apart from that you could of been with him and got all the kids envious," she laughed. I turned to face her and wondered "But I thought you said he would go out with a girl and then dumb her when the week is up," her laugh slightly faded in defeat.

"Well yeah I did say that, but listen to me okay, he never asks a girl out like before, they usually come to him or he just goes up to them and say 'Hey you wanna go out with me?' and they just say yes because he's hot." Where the hell is she going with this I mean seriously? "So your point is?" I asked her, she smiled and answered "I believe he has found the perfect girl for himself especially since he never asked you face to face, he gave you a little note," and she giggled and went to her own bed.

"Urgh whatever Kerri, I hardly know him anyway and besides I've seen how love stories go and they never end well so I would like to keep my distance until I am ready thanks very much......" I paused for a bit then said "Besides he ain't my type," she whispered before she closed her eyes "Yeah, yeah that's what they always say," and with that she was gone. I turned to face the wall and think about what she said. Could she be right, I say that but what if I do like him? No stop it Astrid you don't fall in love with bad boys like Hiccup besides he's a complete pain in your ass and you hardly know him so stop thinking about it.

With that thought drifting away from my mind I closed my eyes and let the night take over my body.
