Chapter 45: Believe Me Or Not....Your Choice

I was walking down the hall and as I glanced out the window I noticed two people sitting on the grass outside laughing and talking to each other. I didn't pay much attention to them until they turned their faces. Astrid and Jack. It struck me hard, what were they doing sat outside talking to each other and having the time of their lives as it seemed. Then straight after I watched them hug each other passionately. Okay what struck me the most was since when did they become friends?

"Weird isn't it how they suddenly just started talking to each other?" I nodded and looked down to see Merida standing next to me and this time she wasn't holding my hand but the expression we both shared. "Yeah, yeah it is....how did it happen?" I turned to face her as she did the same back. "Do you know what for once I don't know, Elsa, Roxy, we don't know, we're the ones usually going up to her but today she is the one coming to us and asking to speak with Jack....of course we tried stopping him and of course being the ass in which he is, didn't listen."

I turned back to the window gazing out towards them. "Look if you want answers the best place is from your girlfriend while we try and get ours out of Jack because right now by the looks on our faces we both want the same thing, and both way we're both gonna get them," she smiled at me and this time it was genuine smile and I did the same back before she walked away. "Hey Merida," she turned back around to face me. "Thanks for being honest with me," she nodded her head slowly and carried on walking away. This time I knew that she was being honest with because that look in her eye I've seen many times and it's always been the look of her not knowing something.

Astrid then walked away from Jack after smiling towards him saying something that looked like a thank you as he did the same back and they shared one last hug before she made her way back inside. I quickly got out of site before she saw me spying on them. I got out of site before she could notice me and we made our different ways. I was thinking about what Merida had said, it was true I did want answers and this was the only way to get them while she did the same with Jack. So I ran to find her and ask her what I needed to.

Okay so it seems that Astrid spoke to Jack because of something that she saw earlier one morning and wanted to know answers. She didn't get what she wanted but she said that she thought there was something suspicious about how he was acting. But other than that Jack also asked a favour and of course she offered to do it and it was to get me to talk to him. Of course I agreed because Astrid can be very persuasive when she wants to be. So right now I'm at the back of the school waiting for him since he wanted to talk in private about the matter he was facing.

He came pacing around corner and looked at me and lowered his head. "She got you to come then," I nodded and said "Of course she did," he lifted his head and got straight to the point. "I can't tell you everything because if I do then someone is going to get hurt maybe even me so I've decided to tell you as much as I possibly can," I made a gesture for him to get straight to the point.

He took a deep breath and began what he had to say.............................................................................

"Wouldn't you want to do anything to save the person you love?" he said before I then walked away.
