Chapter 7: 'Take a Piece of Advice'

I flutter my eyes open to see a streaming light flood through the dorm. Daylight. This means school. I felt different than usual while waking up. I remember going to sleep freezing cold and shaking in the night. But now I feel warm and cosy. Yet that wasn't the only thing. My back was up against something soft and warm which was producing the warmth through my veins.

Surely it can't be the wall? I think to myself I mean the wall isn't soft it's hard and rough. I must be imagining all of this since it is still the morning. I start to close my eyes again as I turn my body to face the wall. "Ahh!" I screamed but while doing so I fell off my bed and tumbled on the hard wooden floor.

"What-what happened?" Kerri jumped out of her skin because of the thump she just heard, "What you doing on the floor for?" she asked concerned. "That would probably be me," Hayden woke up in my bed, right next to me and made me fall out and freak. I glared at him and spoke "What the hell are you doing in my bed?"

He chuckled but never answered the question. "Answer the question. What are you doing in my bed?" this time anger was written through my voice. "So many questions which don't need the answers to..." he got out the bed to walk to the door. He opened it but before he left he turned back around to face me and said "Your cute when your angry, I like it," I scoffed at him as he left the room.

He left the door open, so I went and shouted "AND YOU'RE A DICK!" I slammed the door hard which made me hear the hinges on the door move. "Whoa, I knew that would happen," Kerri laughed. I took the glare off my face and look at her confused. "Wait you knew?" I questioned. She laughed "Yeah but you look so cute I couldn't disturb, sorry," she lowered her head down in shame.

I went on jumped next to her and said to her "Nah it's alright it was quite fun calling him a dick and having a go at him, don't worry," we both laughed while she goes "And it was quite funny to watch as well." I jumped off the bed to get my glasses so I could see better then went to the bathroom to get cleaned up and change.

I came back out to see Kerri changed already too and two girls in the room. I knew who they were immediately. It was Roxy and Meredith the two girls who were so say famous in this school. "Hi, who are you?" I asked politely so I didn't seem rude, I mean I think I don't wanna mess with these girls. "I'm Roxy and this is my friend Meredith," but the red head cut in and said "But call me Merida for short would ya," I nodded and let Roxy proceed.

"Anyway, we noticed Hayden leaving your dorm just a minute ago and we just wanted to say.........Stay away from him would you," whoa hold on what is this? "He doesn't need some nerd coming in his way and forgetting who he is. And besides he has a load of other girls up his sleeve that are much better than you, so just stay away or face the consequences okay." With that they both left the room. "What a bitch?" I said to Kerri with attitude. She laughed "Yeah I know right, now come on or were gonna be late for class," with that she dragged me by the arm and pulled me out the dorm to our class.
