I wanted to do something special for Ally since everything that has gone on she hasn't been herself. Jumpy, suspicious about every little thing going on around her. Jack kept his promise and has left her alone, well slightly; he joins in everyone now and then when Roxy and Merida do something. Ally does what she does best and that's ignore it, but deep down I can see that she is hurting, and doesn't know what to do about it except hideaway or keep her distance.

But that has to change I'm going to change that for her. Surprisingly we haven't been on our first date yet and get ready for this, that's because I'm too afraid to ask. Yep hottest guy in the school gets the attention, been out with a load of girls, but never have I asked them out on a date. Only because they weren't worth it. Ally on the other hand is totally worth it. Next best thing it is also her birthday, great way to do this.

I decided to dodge Ally for a few days so she is probably getting a bit suspicious about what I'm up too. I met up with Kerri "Hey Kerri," she turned around and replied "Alright Hayden what's up?" she bid her friends goodbye and paid her attention on me. "Okay I need help," i stammered. She folded her arms and raised her eyebrow and said "Hayden you always need help, but anyhow what's wrong this time."

"Nothing's wrong....well not exactly," i stuttered. "Oh just spit it out Hayden," she argued at me. I raised my hands up in surrender ready to not be killed. "Okay just wondered what sort of things does Ally like, you know apart from books and chocolate and all that sort of things because I'm gonna ask her out on a date but most importantly on her birthday...." I waited for an answer but all she did was clasp her hands to her mouth and widened her eyes in shock.

"What, what is it?" I asked while running my fingers through my hair. She shook her head and replied "Nothing just that, that's really sweet of you and anyway of course I'll help come on......" and she dragged me away ready to do whatever she needed to do to help me.

<later that evening>

I sent a note to Ally earlier that day to tell her get ready tonight and that to wait for me outside her dorm. I got ready and then opened the door to go meet her. "Good luck mate," James said to me. "Thanks gonna need it I think," I gave a small chuckle and left the room. I made it down to the room and knocked. Kerri opened the door wide and standing in the middle of the room was Ally looking more stunning than she already is, which I never thought was possible.

"Um Ally you look......look stunning," I finally got out. She laughed and walked towards me. "Well have fun you too," Kerri laughed and closed the door. "Happy Birthday Ally," I wished her. She lowered her head in embarrassment and whispered "Heh thanks. We kept walking and walking until we were out of the college and told her to close her eyes. "Hayden where are you taking me," she asked getting a bit agitated with me. "It's a surprise and besides we are almost there," I reassured her while guiding her way.

I finally lowered her down onto the soft golden sand of the beach that kissed the oceans skin and led her down lower towards the water's edge. "Okay you can now open your eyes," I told her.
